John Barrowman's Dallas
Get closer to Dallas this Autumn, with our glossy, cheeky and occasionally outrageous two-part documentary fronted by self-confessed superfan John Barrowman.
If you can't wait for the UK premiere of the new Dallas on Channel 5, you're in for an extra treat: we're pulling out all the stops to bring you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the show, in a glossy, cheeky and occasionally outrageous two-part documentary fronted by self-confessed superfan John Barrowman.
John Barrowman's Dallas will air in the Autumn as a curtain raiser for the start of the all-new series and, with unparalleled access to both the Southfork Ranch and the downtown set, will offer the definitive Dallas fan experience. As well as seeking out Dallas icons Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray, John will be meeting its new generation of stars – Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Julie Gonzalo and Jordana Brewster – one of whom he even manages to coerce into a line-dancing contest in a gay cowboy bar!
John will leave no classic moment unturned as he speaks to the stars from the original series about everything from THAT shower scene and the shooting of JR, to Bobby and JR’s swimming pool fight, and Pam Ewing crashing a fuel tanker. To cap it off, he'll travel to Larry Hagman’s home in California to sneak a peek at his stunning collection of Dallas memorabilia and get the inside scoop on the most famous – and most hated – TV character of all time.
