We all remember 1995 as the age of Britpop and the start of Cool Britannia. It was all about the artists and the charismatic new politicians who would turn the country around. It was an exciting time to be British. Yes, this is how we remember it, but the facts tell a different story. Robert Webb reveals what we were actually buying, which songs we were really listening to and which shows were genuinely on our TV sets.
I liked when Rob Webb said that we were all loaded in '95. Admittedly, my family and I did go to Florida for that year's holiday... But it was only paid for, thanks to my dad's redundancy money. x
I had a great time in 1995 - Glastonbury was fantastic that year - we danced like loons and the sun shone relentlessly all summer. What's not to like? ;)

Research was off. Certain songs featured were in fact 1994 not 1995.

Really hated this programme. So tacky. Isn't there any way of reminding us about years like this without being so sleazy??? Tabloid TV at its worst!
