Dwayne Chambers picked for Team GB

The self confessed drugs cheat Dwain Chambers is back in Great Britain's Olympic team.

The sprinter managed to overturn a lifetime ban from the Games earlier this year and has now been picked by Team GB.

But the decision has split the world of athletics, as our Olympics Correspondent Simon Vigar has been finding out.

I saw this on 5 news and the Tonight Programme at the time I'm glad Dwayne got another chance we all make mistakes and sometimes take the wrong path in life.Life should mean Life if you are a real criminal like a murderer or something but not for something like this we all make mistakes as humans dont we all.

You are all being to hard on Dwain,he has actually become a good example for any athlete,no matter age or experience not to take drugs,as far as I know he hasnt relatively got any faster nor slower, which is the case with quite a lot of athletes who have taken drugs,so why! influenced by coachs, take some vitamins etc.Dwain never boasted about being the most tested athlete on the planet. There has to be a common across the whole the spectrum, for the penalties for being involved in drugs, now one has to be vigilant in the company they keep, and read every label on every product that you consume,if your not sure then get advice, the risk is to expensive,no matter the penalty, just being branded a cheat, has to be the worse indictment of all.Lord Coe was lucky in having his father as coach, who was an ethical man,but heres a name to conjure with David Jenkins, there is no all embracing law to suit all who step over that white line, there isnt anyone anywhere who has all their physical and mental attributes, who hasnt transgressed some how,in life be it motoring, taxation, shopping etc.
