Polly Whitehouse
Polly (@polly5news) is Channel 5's evening update presenter.
She joined 5 News in 2006 as a web and Your News producer, keeping our website up-to-date and helping viewers to get their own stories on air.
Before Channel 5, Polly worked in commercial and BBC local radio as a freelance news presenter, and traffic and travel news reporter. She also worked in children’s television for three years at the BBC.
While she has rubbed shoulders with Daniel Craig, Dame Judi Dench, Sir Elton John and Paris Hilton, her first TV appearance in 2003 was less exciting - dressed as an enormous chicken.

Shed Livingstone was the person Imost admired until I saw Polly walking a Yorkshire Terrier down Fulham High Street. She was absolutely stunning!!!!

You really need to get advice from someone who understands tax! A person with a personal service company still pays income tax on removing money from the company, after the company has paid corporation tax. The scenario you have just presented is very inaccurate.

Polly Whitehouse - Absolutely devine. I'm sure those elocution experts amongst us talk perfectly with the queens english accent themselves. Polly is perfection in everyway and a great newsreader to boot.

Nice to see such a beautiful young lady like Polly presenting the news. Her lovely smile is enough to light up anyone's screen. Why is she not hosting the 5pm show? Much better than Matt Barbet. She's an absolute star.

I did an internet search on Polly as on TV she wears a lot of slap and has repeated facial gestures. In-fact I thought she was an android; a latter day female Max Headroom if you like.

I saw Polly for the first time a couple of weeks ago reading the news headlines. I was totally stunned by her appearance. I could almost believe that she had been computer generated, she is absolutely perfect. All the best Polly hope you have a great career in the media.

I think Polly looks and sounds fantastic as a five newscaster; she has a very warm glow about her and a lovely happy smile with a clear fresh presenting style. Although Matt Barbet is good I think Polly would flourish on the main broadcasts.
