She really was an amazing artist who found her voice through her deep pain which struck a chord with her fans. In a time of manufactured music and commercial pressure she really was unique and special. The Americans had Billy Holiday, the French had Edith Piaf and Britain had Amy Winehouse. Thanks Sue ,the interview with Amy's husband Blake Fielder-Civil was filmed in 2009 when he was in Rehab. All the other interviews were filmed in the last few days.

Its so sad Amy had to die sooo young and join the 27 club! I wish i could have helped her and had coffee n played music with her. I wish someone could have intervened in time to save her. She will live on in all our hearts. God Bless you Amy. x

What a load of keech from the psychologist wummin Jo Hemmings, how does she know what was in Amy's head? What's the point of these peeps who"knew Amy",if you genuinely knew her you wouldn't do this.A show/tribute with her songs and interviews in Amy's own words would've sufficed.I can't watch any more of this..Making the girl look like a co-dependant junkie, shame on you Channel 5 for airing this.....

Thank you Giovanni Ulleri(Director, Amy Winehouse, The untold Story for a very different perspective on Amy Winehouse. Its refreshing to see Blake's opinion on events that happened between him and Amy. Amy was not forced to take drugs, nor was she forced to love, Blake and Amys relationship should have been a private, intimate moment, which unfortunatly due to drugs was doomed. I do believe that Amy was a strong opiniated person who knew her own mind which is why this tortured soul was so extremely talented yet so lacking in confidence, that she was unable to function in life without addictions be it love or substances. What I'm disgusted to see is how noone has yet mentioned the medias part in Amy's death, the press hounded Amy whilst basically photograhing her dying before their own 'lenses'!! Another great female gone forever because of everyones fascination with celebrity, or is it the medias fascination with making money. When will people understand the tremendous pressure these people must live under, always in the glare of public life. I only hope Amy was 'hacked' and maybe then the media will be questioned regarding the part they played. RIP Amy How sad that your only real 'peace' will be obtained in death. Sadly and sorely missed

It's a shame that the second she was gone, everyone had got a finger to point at someone else to be held accountable for her life and her death. Seems everyone is to blame except herself. And as for people and press being too late to shed their crocodile tears, pretty much a mirror of the so called 'fans' who up until she was dead, had very little to say about her or her music. Now that, is real hypocracy! Sad waste of such a huge talent but only one person, and one person only, is accountable for the outcome. The media recorded her life but only she played it out and only she is to blame for it ending.

Stenna, my favourite comment so far. I couldn't help but think to myself throughout this documentary what on earth did she see in BFC? But I try not to be influenced by a tv programme neither do I buy any of the tabloids, there are always two sides to a story. This is the first interview I have seen BFC in, and who knows why this man had such a hold over Amy. Low in self esteem and feeling extremely vulnerable trying to get her head around the notoriety and fame, and the hard drugs befuddling her mind no doubt. She may have met someone who would have loved and taken care of her better... or she may have met someone and been evern worse off than she was with BFC. She was extremely talented, I loved her music and feel sad for her friends and family that her life ended like this. That said I (and I'm sure most of the population) could see this coming a mile off. The media in this country are relentless in hounding people in the spotlight and they have no consideration of the consequences. They are parasites. It will never change as people will continue to buy these newspapers and magazines to get their daily dose of the scandals and carryings on in celebrity lives. Shame on you all.

i think most of us have felt the incredible addictive and destructive feeling that comes with loving someone who deep down we know is wrong and cant live without at the time. We are lucky if we come out okay on the other side. i am so sorry for Amy ..aside from being the most talented artist i have ever known ..she had so much to offer. i am glad she came out the otherside knowing life goes on..im just sorry her poor body gave out before her spirit. Love kills..in many forms. But like she said things happen for a reason..its easy to blame Blake..but could you imagine telling Amy she couldnt do something..she would never have taken drugs if she really didnt want it..some people just have addictive personalities.and hers was apparent...god bless Amy <3 .x
