Dr Iris Henkel 

Iris was born in Schopfheim in Germany, where she went to school. Iris worked for a time in the US as a nanny, and studied in Switzerland  before  qualifying  as a doctor at the University of Heidelberg in 1997. She has worked in ER at Clinica Benidorm for 7 years.  She loves her job and the pace of life in Benidorm.

Maureen Santana

The calm in the eye of the hurricane. The British receptionist who married a Spaniard and has worked at the hospital for 23 years. Maureen is the first port of call in the hospital. Maureen deals with up to a thousand calls a day from her little booth in reception. She always has an amusing anecdote. She does pilates, but calls it Pilots!
