For the past two days, this player has been freezing, first during the show, now during the adverts! Every time I refresh, it happens again. I am relying on this player to watch the show, as I have been too busy to watch it on television. This is ridiculous. Get it sorted out!

if u have problems durin the adverts(which are highly annoyin) then click the blank screen and put into small view and then put it back to mail screen and that should sort it...thats what i have to do anyway

i have chrome and its playing fine. People should stop complaining it's a free service, if you're not prepared to watch it on t.v when its aired then you should be prepared to wait for it....big bro is edited from the original version to online so obv that takes time....people should get over it and wait however long it takes. Concntrate on things that matter like a new presenter or a live feed!

For anyone having trouble viewing any episodes when they eventually come on here try using google Chrome if your not already. I've had the same trouble with the video stopping/pausing for ages but on Chrome it works fine.

I'm going to put this here at the top so people can see it - if you are having trouble playing the video i.e it doesnt play past a certain ad, try going into full screen and minimizing again when it goes black. This is one of the only ways I have managed to get it to play all the ads to get to the main content. Trying to play the show itself is another issue entirely. I know this comment section is intended for us to talk about the show but it's impossible to do that when the player is so unreliable and buggy to the point that I can't even watch it. I, like a lot of other people I'm sure, rely on the catch up service to follow a show like Big Brother, a show I have followed for over 10 years now. I followed it to Channel 5 and have stuck with it for the seasons they have shown but I am continually frustrated with the on demand player. It is basically the only show I use Demand 5 for (other than BBBOTS) and I wouldn't be on the website daily if it wasn't for this programme. If anyone from the web team is reading this comment please have a look at the issues we are all flagging up in this comment section. I would obviously rather be discussing the show rather than whining about how I can't even watch it! I might as well add that through my own detective work I can deduce the problem is not on my end - I have tried watching the player on 2 different Mac laptops, my PC, my flatmates PC, my friends laptop and pc (in a different location) and the computer in my parents workplace, which generally has the best internet connection/pc software available. The same problems exist wherever I try it so through process of elimination I am speculating the problem is 100% on Channel 5's end.
