Dana Delany made her mark as Army nurse Colleen McMurphy on critically acclaimed series China Beach, for which she received two Emmy Awards and four nominations for Best Dramatic Actress. For the past three seasons she has portrayed Katherine Mayfair on hit drama Desperate Housewives.
Following her graduation from Wesleyan University, Delany went to New York to hone her skills in daytime television and theatre. She starred on Broadway in A Life and received critical acclaim in a number of off-Broadway productions, including Nicholas Kazan's Blood Moon, which led to her move to Los Angeles for the west coast production of the controversial drama. Opting to stay in LA after the run of the play, Delany was soon cast in such popular television shows as Moonlighting and Magnum, P.I.
Delany's additional small-screen credits include dramas Castle, Presidio Med and Kidnapped; mini-series True Women, Wild Palms and Shake, Rattle & Roll; TV movies Resurrection, The Patron Saint of Liars, For Hope, Choices of the Heart: The Margaret Sanger Story, Sirens, Rescuers: Stories of Courage, Conviction and The Right Temptation. She also produced and starred in telefilm Final Jeopardy, based on a novel by Linda Fairstein.
As well as film roles in titles including Tombstone, Housesitter and Fly Away Home, Delany has carved out a successful career on stage, through such varied productions as Translations, Much Ado About Nothing, Things We Said Today and the Pulitzer prize-winning Dinner With Friends.
Delany is currently co-president of the Creative Coalition alongside Tim Daly. Since the mid-1990s, she has served on the board of the Scleroderma Research Foundation.

This show should be moved to a more prominent TV time spot. Megan's character is fantastic and well matched by an outstanding supporting cast of lesser know , yet very accomplished actors.
