I thought that scenes in tonight's episode of "Body of truth" were highly inappropriate for the audience at that time of the evening. I would like to see you scheduling the series later in the evening or monitor the contents more sensibly.

Really its after 9pm and some of us would like to watch good TV shows like this and still get to bed at normal hour. If you feel this show is not right for the audience in your home......TURN OVER!

Did anyone else find the playback choppy? I'm wondering if it's my broadband connection that's the problem....cheers

9pm is the watershed... children should not be up watching after that hour. If it was on dvd it would most likely be a 12 or 15 rating so kids should not be watching anyway.....Grrrrr And if it is an adult who is the audience mentioned please stop watching programs that you find inappropriate .. rather silly really being offended when it is a series about a medical examiner / coroner.

I love this series and it's one of the few things on tv that I really enjoy. It's not too gruesome at all - I for one make my own decsions about what I watch and it is parents responsibility to monitor what their children watch - that way, adults don't get censored like children and forced to stay up till all hours so they can watch something that isn't a child rating.

I love Body of Proof. The time it's on if fine for me because I like to get to bed at a normal time too. The only thing I can complain about is I would like to be able to watch it anytime on channel 5 demand, not just the next day. Might just buy the box set :)

I think the poster at the top who has issues with the programme appears to be posting comments about the wrong programme - this refers to the "Body of Proof", not the "Body of TRUTH" as the poster names it. Also, please wake up and smell the coffee - TV is a depiction of life generally - if this is too much, I suggest you lock your doors and windows and curl up in the corner like a little baby! Happy viewing!

@Genius: Channel 5 does not appear to have aired a programme called "Body of Truth," so I'm guessing Matteo simply made a typo. @Matteo: "Body of Proof" is after the watershed of 9 p.m. As others have pointed out, it is up to parents to exercise responsibility over what their children are being allowed to arguably stay up too late to watch. Curious that you chose to post your complaint on the Demand 5 Website, because it strikes me that it would be awfully easy for children of parents unwilling to exercise their responsibilities (and set up Internet access parental locks) to view material they find too sensitive. Another option is to watch with your older (teenage?) children and discuss anything you think they may find upsetting. My guess is that they find the show far less upsetting than do you. And you might learn about some of the real life day to day 'horrors' to which they are already exposed. Hey, I found the film "Psycho" upsetting when I first saw it on telly as a child, but as I was sneaking a peek long after I had been sent to bed, even as a child, I took responsibility for my own nightmares... showers, creepy... :-)

WARNING: May contain scenes of offal posing as a blood clot and burgundy gravy posing as blood. If you find Masterchef upsetting, do not watch. Sorry, but I couldn't resist. ;-) OK, there is that one other scene... but I won't spoil it for anyone. Might I suggest some doses of "Doctor Who Confidential" or "CSI" behind the scenes DVD extras to get over any fictional telly versus reality queasiness?

i agree with people saying if it's shown at 9 pm, that is the 'watershed', it's up to parents to ensure that children aren't watching anything 'unsuitable'. My solution to anything gruesome/gory/nasty to see is to look the other way or put a hand in front of my eyes. I had to adopt the look away (and stop listening strategy) briefly during this due to excessive squeamish. Clever story and quite poignant with a good surprising twist at the end I thought, never guessed 'whodunnit' up to that point. Have an op imminently so this was possibly not my favourite episode. Good though these are, with very likeable cast members, I wish she would learn to tie her hair back and wear a head cap during autopsies!
