Upon regaining consciousness to find Jane dead, Jesse’s first call is to Walt. Telling him to sit tight and not panic, Walt calls Saul Goodman, who hires a private investigator named Mike to dispose of any evidence of drug use – and all the cash – before leaving Jesse to report Jane’s death to the police. While the drug overdose raises little suspicion and keeps Jesse out of trouble, when Jane’s dad arrives to deliver her to rehab, he is stunned to find her dead. Meanwhile, though Walt would rather not have the publicity, the unexpected success of his son’s fundraising website puts the White household in a media spotlight. And though the local supply of Blue Sky meth seems to have dried up, Hank is convinced that its manufacturer is still in town and has arranged to distribute the drugs elsewhere.
As Skyler and Walt Jr. continue to be amazed at how much money the website is bringing in – unaware that it’s the work of Saul Goodman’s money launderer in Belarus – Walt calls on Mike to find Jesse. Tracking him down at a rundown crack house, Mike tries to stop Walt from going inside. Hearing nothing of it, Walt sifts through the human waste and wasted humans to find his partner. Although Jesse tries to resist, he is no match for Walt, who sees to it that Mike delivers him to a luxury rehab facility. Meanwhile, in the wake of his daughter’s fatal overdose, Donald is left to mourn as he makes her funeral arrangements.
With Jesse taken care of for now, and Walt Jr. and his website getting an uncomfortable amount of publicity, Walt checks in to the hospital for his cancer surgery. Just as he is about to go under, Walt’s answer to a question about his cell phone causes Skyler to worry. So, five weeks after the operation, she lays her concerns on the table and, after telling Walt that she suspects he’s having an affair, gives him two days to pack up and move out. Refusing him an opportunity to tell the truth, Skyler leaves Walt alone to piece together the wreckage he’s made of his life. Finally, after Donald returns to his air traffic controller job, the distractions and instability he’s fighting with in the wake of his daughter’s death cause him to make a tragic and fatal mistake.

This is one of the best shows on 5. Why is it broadcast so late in the evening?

Channel 5 have wasted a show that is being called 'the best drama on television' in the US. They seem to just want to concentrate on cheap reality shows for thickos rather than top quality programmes. No wonder Ricky Gervais doesn't want to work with them.

I can't believe you are letting this brilliant show go. With some decent marketing it would surely have done well here. You can show endless episodes of NCIS but not Breaking Bad. WTF?????????
