I really feel very let down by Ch5, all the hype about Big Brother carrying on, which is very good, but so many people are begging, yes begging for LIVE FEED. BB is 24hr sureveillance of what people get up to, and to only be allowed to watch what has been chosen for us on the nightly live show of 45mins, after adverts taken out is totally truly not what OUR BB is all about. Last year we could choe to pay to watch online and that was brilliant, I think an enormous amount of people would willingly pay this year, so please can you sort something out ASAP or even for the non celebrity show. last year I watched a lot of the live feed. I watched the very moment Coolio had that bottle of water explode in his face, it was great because it was so unexpected. Then there were John James and Josie kicking off another argument - I watched the edited highlights show and the producers had completley manipulated the situation. Live feed is the very essence of BB.

I've just watched BB's bit on the side. Even this is a massive let down - no fault of Emma Lewis. Everything about this channel is tacky and 2nd rate. Previously on Ch4 right about now I'd be watching BB live. The first night is always great to watch as new housemates size each other up etc. Watching live through the night was always the best bit as housemates often wrongly thought no-one would be watching in the wee hours. I dont see how channel five can go ahead with bb if there is no live feed no1 is interested. I've been sooooo looking forward to the launch of BB on Ch5 and it never even crossed my mind that it wouldn't be live. I've just found out via this page and I am totally gutted. In one fell swoop my bubble of excitement has burst. I'll probably watch it out of curiousity but no longer feel the same about it. I certainly won't be spending my hard-earned to vote, that's for sure.
Are CH5 so arrogant/conceited as to believe that the (huge) BB fanbase will really spend their cash to support a channel that clearly does not respect it's viewers? Shame on you. People should just not vote. Seriously. Afterall, we are the audience.

The Live Feed on Red button was well-liked and used at BB's height! Brian has big job to fill as it was Davina who made the show what is was. How many times will he say "when I was in the house"!? Bleh no live feed? Total letdown, was really looking forward to see how Channel 5 would run BB aswell, not a good start imho.. No BB live feed means i aint voting, ill still watch it though lol. But the broadcasts could easily be manipulated and certain conversations may not be shown, meaning voting could become down to what the viewer has ONLY SEEN and we wont know the FULL STORY/TRUTH to any events that occur. Which is a shame :(

I've read some report on another site (totalbigbrother) that their is no live feed, only video clips sent to smartphones. If this is the case; you need a whole new marketing & research team because thats not the best way to make money from BB viewers. Again if its true thats a very small corner of the market compaired to other means e.g internet live feeds ect...( food for thought ) "Whats more important, increasing profits or a userbase?"

Don't vote, inform companies who advertise on the show that you will not buy any of their products if there isn't live feed 24/7. Hit them in their pockets! I will watch the opening night only.
Wish they didn't start with a celebrity one though, they are just going to drag it out with a normal BB straight after. They are in danger of seriously over-killing it. I am excitied all the same.

stopping the live feed was what killed the show on chanel 4 and no live feed this year means it is probably doomed to fail on chanel 5 they really should listen to the viewers
Has there been any Official Comment/Response as yet from Channel 5 with regard the huge question over Live Feed/Streaming of the show?
I find myself wondering whether Channel 5 are reading any of the comments posted within their own Official Website.
Which leads me to also wonder whether efforts made in posting comments are purely for among viewers/fans of the show and as such have no other value? Genuine questions and enquiries do I would have thought, at the very least, deserve a broad outline response. Especially if an enquiry is being repeatedly made by so many.
I do hope it's not an early taste of how as viewers we are going to be valued. I dare say if that turns out to be the case, paying by way of voting for extremely little by way of viewing experience, I for one will find myself watching but simply not voting!

No Live Feed = No Big Brother, the whole premise of the show "Big Brother" is that you are watched ALL the time, and not just by producers and editors, but by the viewing public. With no Live Feed there'll be less viewer interaction, the show will be less engaging and will be a flop, such a shame that C5 have dropped the ball, having just picked it up.
The live online feed is likely to use up everyones internet download limit or fair usage clause, so viewing just 1 night of live feed is likely to use atleast 1 gig of download. And thats the end of your monthly allowance.
Your pubilc have spoken, dont be like our corrupt govenment and not listern.. Live feed is a must..
most people have limited internet usage !! The online feed is deemed useless if you are bound to a fair usage clause.. one or two night of online viewing will use up viewers internet fair usage for a month..
just by looking here at comments made by your customers/viewers you can see the live feed is whats wanted.

people will most likely use up the monthly allowance within 1 or 2 day of online live stream.
The lack of a live stream shows not a lot of thought has gone into the show.

Looking forward to it!! But I think it's a huge shame that there is to be no Live Feed of any kind - even just an hour or two a day. Surely on one of 5's spin off channels late at night instead of teleshopping!! Or get rid of bloomin' Supercasino for a month or two!! This kind of series NEEDS Live Feed. In the past I've watched BB live and then seen the edited version in a highlights show and the impression you get is completely different. This means that viewers can arguably get the wrong impression of a housemate and/or an event in the house. Thus a housemate can get unfairly evicted by the public. I know times are hard and Channel 5 has already invested a great deal of money, but if you are going to show a series like this, then you need to do it properly.
I can't wait for CBB this year. just can't get enough of watching the celebs in the house. And with Amy Childs it's bound to be the best yet. Essex is in the houuuussse!

As a die hard BB fan since the beginning I have watched BB survive and fail at times. It appears as though it failed when live feed was withdrawn. It's the live feed that gets people habitually watching and talking to others and this gets the viewing figures up. Live feed has never just been about people snoring. I think they have never been able to give a true representation of the housemates in the 45 minutes a day. I am so disappointed at CH5 decision to have no live feed. Editing can and probably will manipulate events even if they don't mean too. I probably won't be able to stop myself tuning in at the beginning but whether they will be able to hold my interest with no live feed, I sincerely doubt. Come on CH5 reconsider and give us live feed. I truly think you are making a mistake but good luck all the same.

The Live feed should be used!! If your using old winners (brian) the old way of viewing (Live Feed) should be used also. other wise it'll be not worth watching. The live feed helped people decide who to vote for

I really feel very let down by Ch5, all the hype about Big Brother carrying on, which is very good, but so many people are begging, yes begging for LIVE FEED. BB is 24hr sureveillance of what people get up to, and to only be allowed to watch what has been chosen for us on the nightly live show of 45mins, after adverts taken out is totally truly not what OUR BB is all about. Last year we could choe to pay to watch online and that was brilliant, I think an enormous amount of people would willingly pay this year, so please can you sort something out ASAP or even for the non celebrity show. IT JUST AINT PROPER BUG BROTHER at the moment,. A TRUE FAN.

Well I have to say this Social Networking idea of knowing what's happening in the house leaves little to be desired… I think I’ll now pass on Big Brother this year! I prefer to see what’s happening and make my own mind up on events and have now been proven right in my preference. Before my good bye to Big Brother viewing though I would like to say “WELL DONE and GOOD LUCK for the rest of the show to Brian Dowling. He’s taken to the role and doing the job excellently, especially in view of the shoes he had to fill. A shame his efforts for us are let down by Channel 5’s and @bbuk efforts towards us.

Are people really that dumb, when they said see you next Friday that is the next live show, there will still be highlight shows daily. The live feed will come back for the normal housemates, they were not aloud to use live feed on celebrity big brother before, so it will be back when the normal one with wanna b's starts. Until then, shut up stop complaining there is nothing you can do about it, they wont listen to you and your just making your self seem like a job-less person with to much time on your hands

I was really looking forward to big brother but i refuse to vote by watching the edited shows.How can you make your mind up about someone if you are not seeing them as they really are.Big brother is about being watched 24/7 but we are not seeing any of it apart from stupid mini clips that last about 2 mins and have the same advert before each one starts which is really annoying.Come on ch 5 get the live feed on otherewise people are not going to watch it.You should listen to all your viewers and give them what they want or you will no longer have a show.I really cannot be bothered clicking on every little clip you put on here to see whats going on and so for that reason i refuse to vote altogether until you give us live feed.It is reall boring not having live feed as this is what makes the show and what it is all about and out of respect ch5 you should respond to our comments instead of ignoring us all.

Live feed desperately needed. Not going to be the same not being able to see some unedited footage. Cant really judge the good from the bad unless we see unedited. Channel 5 have messed it up big time. They bring a nationally loved program and then screw it up and dont put the LIVE FEED on well all i can say is they are idiots. What is the point of a big build up on Channel 5 when we cannot hardly watch anything. 1 hour a day and nothing live. If you had live feed it would defo up the audience. No live feed and you will surely fail Ch5. If we cannot see them they may as well not be there, and in truth they probably aren't. If I can't see them I am not going to believe your 45 minute high-light show and I am not going to watch your adverts or subscribe to any twitter or FB feeds. I am not the only one. You will lose the fan base you inherited. If we cannot watch it we will not talk about it as someone remarked above and your audience will drift away.

I can see the Head Lines to Come Channel 5 in BB PR Disaster ! I feel the head of programming has no Idea what he was taking on when they decided to TRY and do Big Brother. Live Feeds Give Context to Viewers and without the Live Feeds there is no CONTEXT to the Program. All you Get is a Greatly Slimmed down Edited Soap. I Feel Channel 5 is harming it's Brand & the Brand of Big Brother into the Bargin. The Damage can be Reversed ! But has Channel 5 say "SORRY WE GOT IT WRONG ?" last year I watched a lot of the live feed. I watched the very moment Coolio had that bottle of water explode in his face, it was great because it was so unexpected. Then there were John James and Josie kicking off another argument - I watched the edited highlights show and the producers had completley manipulated the situation. Live feed is the very essence of BB.

I've just watched BB's bit on the side. Even this is a massive let down - no fault of Emma Lewis. Everything about this channel is tacky and 2nd rate. Previously on Ch4 right about now I'd be watching BB live. The first night is always great to watch as new housemates size each other up etc. Watching live through the night was always the best bit as housemates often wrongly thought no-one would be watching in the wee hours. Tomorrow we will get the massively edited "highlights" I'm particularly offended by this as who's to say their [producers] highlight are the same as mine would be. Im so annoyed. If anything I'll record it when it's on but watch it when I've nothing else to do. And I will not be voting. Please, people make your dissatisfaction/displeasure known and DO NOT VOTE. Surely if Channel 5 had done their homework they would have realised that the Channel 4 version lost ratings when they dropped the live feed. So they hope to gain back back viewers by........doing the same. Think you might need some new quant/qual researchers and planners.

It seems to me channel 5 have not done there research and no nothing about bb whatsoever.You think you can make your money with ppls votes which you have just cut your proffit down by half by cutting live feed,i mean who wants to vote just for the sake of voting we wont no anything about them or what truly is going on in the house. I am 1 of many who is a huge bigbrother fan from the very first to the last show i an shocked there is no live feed. I WILL NOT BE WATCHING THE CHANNEL FIVE COP OUT OF THE SHOW. I've been sooooo looking forward to the launch of BB on Ch5 and it never even crossed my mind that it wouldn't be live. I've just found out via this page and I am totally gutted. In one fell swoop my bubble of excitement has burst. I'll probably watch it out of curiousity but no longer feel the same about it. I certainly won't be spending my hard-earned to vote, that's for sure. Are CH5 so arrogant/conceited as to believe that the (huge) BB fanbase will really spend their cash to support a channel that clearly does not respect it's viewers? Shame on you. People should just not vote. Seriously. Afterall, we are the audience. p.s I hope Jedward aren't going in - I can't stand them!!

The Live Feed on Red button was well-liked and used at BB's height! Brian has big job to fill as it was Davina who made the show what is was. How many times will he say "when I was in the house"!? BBBOTS should be shown at same time BBLB was. If they are stupid enough to put Jedward in people will turn off in droves! Will wait n see!

Most are willing to pay and it isn't a hugely costly thing to do, especially compared to the cost of some of what BB takes to put on. You just aren't telling the fans why you've decided against streaming - I mean the real reason that actually makes sense. Most of the rest of how BB is looking now is great, but no live feed is an incredibly huge gap and is putting me and many others off watching it at all. Please Channel 5, listen to the people who watch your channel - Otherwise why bother running the a TV channel at all? It isn't making sense to anyone, and one of the most irritating things is the silence coming from you. Even with the announcement yesterday, it still just does not make any sense. Please reconsider for BB12 next month.

Bleh no live feed? Total letdown, was really looking forward to see how Channel 5 would run BB aswell, not a good start imho.. No BB live feed means i aint voting, ill still watch it though lol. But the broadcasts could easily be manipulated and certain conversations may not be shown, meaning voting could become down to what the viewer has ONLY SEEN and we wont know the FULL STORY/TRUTH to any events that occur. Which is a shame :(

I've read some report on another site (totalbigbrother) that their is no live feed, only video clips sent to smartphones. If this is the case; you need a whole new marketing & research team because thats not the best way to make money from BB viewers. Again if its true thats a very small corner of the market compaired to other means e.g internet live feeds ect...( food for thought ) "Whats more important, increasing profits or a userbase?"

@BB Tinx yes there is anouncement about Live Feed in another article on this site . To summarise there is NONE on internet or TV which is of course even worse than BB10 and IMHO ridiculous ! NO 24/7 Live Feed = Not a real BB IMHO. Rename it 'The Only way is Borehamwood Zelebrity Edition' and be done with it ! In other words a totally staged and contrived load of codswallop IMO.

Has there been any Official Comment/Response as yet from Channel 5 with regard the huge question over Live Feed/Streaming of the show? I find myself wondering whether Channel 5 are reading any of the comments posted within their own Official Website. Which leads me to also wonder whether efforts made in posting comments are purely for among viewers/fans of the show and as such have no other value? Genuine questions and enquiries do I would have thought, at the very least, deserve a broad outline response. Especially if an enquiry is being repeatedly made by so many. I do hope it's not an early taste of how as viewers we are going to be valued. I dare say if that turns out to be the case, paying by way of voting for extremely little by way of viewing experience, I for one will find myself watching but simply not voting! Surely this has not crossed just my mind? Maybe I am wrong in my thoughts but without any answers it's hard to think otherwise!!

GOODLUCK on thursday and my it be a great begining. As a b.b fan from the start i feel that it is such a big shame that ENDEMOL have convinced you that live feed will not pay and it cost to much. NO us fans would spend a lot of money on voting, that is until they took away our rights to watch 24/7.We only saw what they want us to see which cuuld have influenced the way people voted.As a long term fan i missed the red button when they stopped it. No Live Feed = No Big Brother, the whole premise of the show "Big Brother" is that you are watched ALL the time, and not just by producers and editors, but by the viewing public. With no Live Feed there'll be less viewer interaction, the show will be less engaging and will be a flop, such a shame that C5 have dropped the ball, having just picked it up.

The live online feed is likely to use up everyones internet download limit or fair usage clause, so viewing just 1 night of live feed is likely to use atleast 1 gig of download. And thats the end of your monthly allowance. Your pubilc have spoken, dont be like our corrupt govenment and not listern.. Live feed is a must..

most people have limited internet usage !! The online feed is deemed useless if you are bound to a fair usage clause.. one or two night of online viewing will use up viewers internet fair usage for a month.. just by looking here at comments made by your customers/viewers you can see the live feed is whats wanted.

careful of the live feed over the internet.. most people have a download limit or fair usage contract.. people will most likely use up the monthly allowance within 1 or 2 day of online live stream. The lack of a live stream shows not a lot of thought has gone into the show.

Looking forward to it!! But I think it's a huge shame that there is to be no Live Feed of any kind - even just an hour or two a day. Surely on one of 5's spin off channels late at night instead of teleshopping!! Or get rid of bloomin' Supercasino for a month or two!! This kind of series NEEDS Live Feed. In the past I've watched BB live and then seen the edited version in a highlights show and the impression you get is completely different. This means that viewers can arguably get the wrong impression of a housemate and/or an event in the house. Thus a housemate can get unfairly evicted by the public. I know times are hard and Channel 5 has already invested a great deal of money, but if you are going to show a series like this, then you need to do it properly.

As a die hard BB fan since the beginning I have watched BB survive and fail at times. It appears as though it failed when live feed was withdrawn. It's the live feed that gets people habitually watching and talking to others and this gets the viewing figures up. Live feed has never just been about people snoring. I think they have never been able to give a true representation of the housemates in the 45 minutes a day. I am so disappointed at CH5 decision to have no live feed. Editing can and probably will manipulate events even if they don't mean too. I probably won't be able to stop myself tuning in at the beginning but whether they will be able to hold my interest with no live feed, I sincerely doubt. Come on CH5 reconsider and give us live feed. I truly think you are making a mistake but good luck all the same.
