Very poor indeed
Oh, it' gets better and better! Not only do we have awful highlights that I've spent half of hour trying over and over again to watch to get about a mere 5 mins of actual cricket with the programme constantly freezing and endless adverts. But now I see we have censorship by the moderators if you want to express an opinion on how truly dreadful the coverage is. Cheers guys, thanks a bunch. Take a good look at yourselves guys and perhaps focus your efforts on a properly working service rather than removing comments just because you don't like people being negative about you. No doubt you'll remove this aswell, thanks for your censorship.

Shoddy stuff as ever
Please remind me Demand 5 what the main feature is here? As it seems that I can occasionally get a sprinkling of working cricket highlights interspersed amongst stupidly disproportionate amounts of adverts that play like a dream with no problems! Shoddy, really really shoddy.

I am getting extremely frustrated with the poor quality of channel 5 highlights. I have 9meg broadband and yet it takes about 3 hours to watch the video; despite the adverts playing fine.

Frustrated of Headingley
@Tzichy - and yet the BBC manage to upload their programmes promptly - day in, day out; week in, week out. This is nothing to do with technology, it's merely channel 5's complete inability to care about anything but their advertising revenue. What do they care if we can't watch the highlights but instead end up watching the adverts three times. They're not at all bothered by the experiences of their viewers, as demonstrated by the fact that we're all back here, during another test match, wholly frustrated by 5 and their useless online service. If they cared they'd have done something about it by now.

If I let it stream for about ten minutes, I might be lucky enough to see two balls before it freezes again. Rail companies have to pay fines if they can't run their services properly. Why can't the same apply to a television channel with responsibility for a national sport?

So so poor - to anyone that comments on here saying please stop whingeing, I honestly don't think they are a) a cricket fan or b) completely fair and reasonable - the viewers have a right in 2012 to be able to watch cricket highlights online a reasonable time after they are broadcast and in the same condition that they are broadcast - I have just wasted 10 mins of my life watching three sets of 120 second advertisements followed by about 1 min of cricket before the whole thing crashes - hit refresh and it does not resume where you left off but instead tries to flog you more stuff via advertisements. I think Channel 5 view the whole cricket thing as a contractual obligation and nothing more - Channel 5 are a mainstream channel on everyone's remote control but they seem to have the technical competence of a student radio station. Utterly shabby - I have never been able to post a favourable comment about their on demand service and wish they would stop promoting it during the tv highlights, as clearly not even Yozzer has bothered to see if it works consistently. I think most true cricket fans who don't have Sky Sports will stick to CricInfo and TMS, at least they care about the game of cricket!

At pigging last! It's not like it takes much time to upload the digital broadcast to the website. It could easily be done as soon as the broadcast finishes

Yes maybe it does take hours to upload an hour's highlights, but that is missing the point. When they are so consistently NOT available as promised and people have to wait to the wee small hours or even the next morning to watch them, then viewers have a right to say this is a rubbish service. Time and time again, this site fails in its promises. And now, we get commercial breaks interrupting balls, interrupting commentators' sentences even. The stream jumps and cuts erratically. All in all and test after test, this web page is consistent in its amateur shoddy quality and shows only too clearly that it is run and operated by people who do not care.

Do you lot realise it takes several hours to upload files like this to a website? Something could quite easily go wrong and it has to be done again. Be grateful for what you get, it's not a devine right or anything.

Sometimes when i hear Mark Nicholas and now Vaughny say "and don't forget you can watch all the highlights on channel 5 catch up" whether they actually have been on here themselves and realise what we have to put up with i'm sure they would be horrified at the channel 5 team's incompetency as people have said in this day and age a 45 minute program should be easy

Totally agreed with all the above - C5 sort your act out - how long does it bloody take for god's sake to stream out 45 mins of TV in this day and age!!!! Happens time and time again...Roll on cricket coverage elsewhere - pls do not cover again Channel 5

Where are highlights? Want to watch these before bedtime (currently 11:40pm) yet still not here... Looks like I will be downloading TMS Podcast for Day 2 instead Channel 5 - your loss once again, would be nice if your production team actually read these comments by myself and others and took heed...
