are you people idiots, for as long as channel 5 have had the highlights people have been moaning about the lenth of time it takes for them to appear on the website. they are not allowed to post the highlights until Sky have shown theirs which usually finish around midnight. its not rocket surgery.

One last response to 'Snatch' bbc iplayer, 4oD don't show cricket highlights. The shows they have available so soon after air are recorded and as such are available days, weeks, months even years before they are aired. Your argument is null and void.

Pete, I bow to your superior web knowledge, I wasn't trying to claim I could do better or that channel 5 could do better. My point I guess is that there must be some technical reason for it taking as long as it does, Channel 5 stand to gain nothing from the delay. I understand people find it frustrating but what really gets me is how people moan and gripe about the delay. It is well worth the wait, sure it would be better if it was up earlier but I one thing I am certain of is that 5 are not doing it intentionally. This debate has raged for more than 2 years on this forum and I'm sure they are aware of the public's displeasure. People should just stop complaining and wait, if they can't do that then they can always watch the appalling highlights at 'tencrickethighlights' posted by the likes of 'Jimmy' I have posted in this forum about the quality of these links and if anyone out there wants to watch those rather than wait then more fool you.

Barbie - thanks, you're a doll (this is a term of endearment where I come from). Pete - the fact of the matter that it does take Channel 5 as long as it does to upload this content and it's your choice to get frustrated. Your comment would be greatly improved if you were not rude. Come on... lets have some useful comments (not people whinging over trivial matters)!

Come on Channel 5. It'sa good programme. And would be a great service if you could get it up in a reasonable timeframe (e.g 2 hours after airing). It's now 4 hours.

Robin/Ken, the fact of the matter is this. It shouldn't take Channel 5 as long as it does to upload this content and that's what really frustrates people. It is a very good service but one that would be greatly improved if they pulled their finger out of their backside. Robin, your comments about upload time are utter nonsense. I'm a web developer and could have this content uploaded straight after airing. Come on... lets have some cricket!

I dont like cricket oh no , I love it ! Thanks channel five for giving us the chance to watch highlights of what is turning out to be an amazing test match against two outstanding teams . Unfortunately as a cricket fan there is a lot of good cricket being missed and its not like the days when a big test match such as this would be broadcast on television. Test matches are an important part to the sport for those that understand the game and for youngsters learning , its not a complaint just a question of how things have changed. Really enjoying the highlights come on South Africa "Shaya ama ball ".( hit that ball).

I agree with Robin from yesterday. Good things are worth waiting for. Be patient. Don't be in such a hurry. The highlights are available about 4 hours after the end of the broadcast. That seems more than fair to me. You don't pay Channel 5 for this service - except for watching a few adverts and you can go and make a cup of tea while they are on. If you have to go to bed then watch the next day over breakfast (as I have just done). Or watch the poor quality highlights on other web sites. The choice is there for you. Don't expect everything your own way. Stop complaining and only post useful comments. I find these comments bring down the enjoyment of the service. I would like Channel 5 to remove every comment that complains about the timing of the highlights being available. Life is not all about you. Sometimes bad things happen to good people, get over it and move on.
