Why add a search bar to a video when it doesn't work? Useless.

I have no objection to Geoffrey, I think Alec is a good commentator and has done it. When he says that a wicket keeper couldn't catch something he does speak with a bit of authority.

I don't understand why there are those who want Boycott gone. Apart from his illustrious playing career I think he makes a damned good cricketing commentator. At least Geoff calls it as he sees it and no beating around the bush. If a player is not playing to his full potential, I want to hear Geoff's criticism of that player. The last thing I want is to hear is the kind of drivel you hear from football commentators and ex-players, employed as pundits who seem to treat every game like they were running a fan club with never a bad word said about any under performing player, and let's face it, there are many, many of that type of footballer from the British Isles. Keep up the good work Geoff!!!

The quality of video and audio leaves a lot to be desired. My system usually runs fine, but not on 5. As for Boycot, I well remember his playing days. He was as boring then as he is now. Time to retire him. Keep Stewart.

Joan_Muriel The commentary is superb by Mark Nicholas, Alec Stewart and Michael Vaughan, but please don'tyou think it is time you retired Geoffrey Boycott and put him out to grass. His negative remarks are so unproductive and his is out of touch with today's game.

Excellent commentary by Alec Stewart, on all five episodes. Must stay on the "Team"

This service is widely advertised as free. It is prominently promoted by the presenters. But Channel 5 have not delivered day 5 of the Test match. It would be courteous, at least to tell us that it is not available, and to apologise, rather than leaving us to ponder if there is something wrong with our reception.

when the ad break comes 80% of the time the screen goes blank and the service stalls. often i am forced to view from the start again. this always seem to happen on the cricket highlights. not happy...

it seems some sky services failed to record the cricket today, my virgin service also failed to record the highlights, and now C5 can't get the highlights on demand....something is clearly wrong, and it would be nice for the customers if this was acknowledged somehow. Should we go to bed or not???

My Tivo box decided not to record the cricket today so I thought it would be on at midnight like it usually says? Man was I wrong. Channel 5 need to sort this out.

i agree that this free service is great and very handy but the episodes should all be made available at the same time each day....one day 10pm...nxt day 5am...this is very annoying as it means u have to keep on checking while wondering if u should just go to bed or not....could be sorted out so easily.....not cool....but better than nothing

Except, Ken, it's not free. You pay by being interrupted by annoying adverts every fifteen minutes. Sky make that charge as well, if I remember rightly, as well as gouging you for £50/month or whatever Sports costs these days. If it was actually free, then this shonkiness might be acceptable. If there was an option to pay, that would also be OK - I don't know what my viewing of an advert is worth, but if I could pay a quid or so to get the cricket in a timely fashion, I would. But we 'pay' (ok, viewers make money for C5, same same) and C5 don't deliver. Consistently don't deliver either, if you go back through Demand5 pages, every single one has people upset about C5 taking ages to up their highlights. If these delays were a one-off, technical fault, etc - wouldn't be so bad. It was nearly 4am last night before day four was online. Tonight NASA aren't landing an historic rover on Mars so I probably won't hang around waiting. But it does mean I'll have to spend all day tomorrow avoiding all the news on the off chance someone mentions the cricket scores. It's not the end of the world. But it is annoying. I would like C5 to do better.

Hi Ken. The whole test match used to be completely free on the BBC, but the cricketing authorities sold the rights off to Sky, meaning you now to watch, or rely on rubbish services like Demand 5. Ultimately this is only going to harm the game.

I like the free service from Channel 5. It's free. If I want something better than this free service I could subscribe to Sky (or whoever it is) to give me a fuller, but not free, service. I dislike reading comments from people who say "I want more (although I'm not willing to pay for it)". And did I mention, it's free.
