Hi, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your blog in Opera, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, excellent blog!

I've been away all weekend and haven't seen any cricket, so to be able to watch the last 3 days highlights online is excellent. Well done Channel 5.

All the other channels' catch up programmes are working fine but not Channel 5. it runs for two seconds and then stops for 20 seconds. Hopeless.

This has been true of this site, by the way, since Channel 5 first started showing cricket. It is a shamefully and consistently bad service - the people who run this site should be ashamed.

The quality of the highlights is reasonable but why oh why do we have to have the inane drivel of Mark Nicholas inflicted on us??? The mans clueless when it comes to international cricket, he never played at that level yet pontificates as if he played a 100 matches. Please oh please get rid of him & employ a decent commentator or 2! Listening to Tuffers & Vaughny on TMS is an indicator of what proper commentary should be. Im sure Nicholas could earn a crust presenting cookery programmes........

Theres nothing wrong with C5's highlights. It's just this imcompetent amateurish website that is to blame

Very disappointed that highlights still not working. Just as I had been telling everyone that the C5 cricket show was surprisingly good and well worth watching on demand. Oh well, obviously I was wrong. I have Sky sports as well but actually liked your highlights show.

Not working for me! Can see the play of the day, interviews etc. but not the actual highlights. Same for Day 1. What is going on? Day 3 about to start and I still can't see the highlights from previous days, poor show.

Working now, nice one C5. Think some people want to calm down a bit. Off to lords today, fingers crossed for some sun and a few bit hits from young Bairstow

I agree with Tuffers about the quality of the show and the skill of the Cricket on 5 team. I saw it at 10.30 and I'm happy with that. I don't know what most of you lot are whinging on about. Get a life and stop behaving like my 4 year old.

Hi all, to answer some of the questions about the availability of the show online. We do our best to get the show online as soon as possible. But it does take a few hours to prepare after broadcast - it has to be converted, checked for errors and any legal issues, before it can be uploaded. The reason why highlights are only available on our own website is that we have only been granted rights for here, and not for iPad, Xbox or other platforms.

Enjoyed it when it became available. Well worth waiting for. Thanks for taking out the ads.

i would echo a previous comment of C5 doing the decent thing and relinquishing the cricket to C4 #professionals

some of these comments on here are quite frankly out of order. cricket on 5 is a brilliant show with better highlights than what sky sports do and being on a channel that anyone can see for free. i can see why channel 5 has dificulties getting the programme out on here immediately after its been shown on air. i defy anyone to record and edit a days play like channel 5 do given that they probably only have half an hour to do so. after the action has finished. when are you people going to learn that your day doesn't revolve around this sort of thing. just watch them in the morning if you have to. i'm sure pretty much all of you have the ability to record shows on your digital box for the telly or whatever so do that if you have to. then you can watch them immediately. keep up the good work cricket on 5 :)

Just enjoyed watching the highlights. And enjoyed reading the last few comments even more. So there is a human at C5! A human who has no idea about communication, how to relate to its audience or the power of social media to send things like this viral...but a human all the same. Hurrah. We are getting somewhere.

I wonder how long it will take for those Cricket on 5 comments to be deleted before someone more senior sees them. In my experience of this service, the highlights usually are made available around 11pm. Slow, yes, and frustrating, so a few comments here are justified if a little over the top. But the service provider's retort, especially if they are hoping to keep customers, is baffling.

To Cricket on 5: May I say that seems a rather cavalier attitude to take with your viewers? I concede that some of the comments here may have been a little aggressive, perhaps born of frustration and disappointment with your service, but it is quite reasonable for people (a) to wish to watch the highlights of today's play before seeing or hearing tomorrow's and (b) to have that service available online - if it is promised to be - at a 'sociable' hour rather than after midnight! As for getting a subscription to Sky, some of us will not subscribe to Sky or any other Murdoch-owned or associated medium on princple. (And I can only imagine your comment to Jonathan is tongue in cheek; I hope he has a sense of humour.)

Got one, but I find it hard to believe you just wrote that. Are you actually interested in your audience? Pity, because I think the programme is great.

I am quite frankly appalled at the snide nature of those last two comments from Cricket on 5. They truly are disgraceful responses. I imagine most people responding here work so watching it live is clearly not possible and telling someone to buy a PC, well that is just plain rude.

I'm sorry Cricket on 5 person but that is garbage. Are you saying that yesterday it took 4 plus hours to convert the stuff? I do not think so! And if it can't be done before transmission, why can't it be done during transmission? Surely you have more than a single person managing your digital content?

Wow, first ever comment from C5 in two years of reading these comments! A step in the right direction, Not a step in the right direction, however, is 'the programme will be available shortly'. Shortly? Followed by 'soon' and 'as soon as possible', maybe 'just around the corner'. Put a time on it please C5. You'd cut your negative comments in half simply by communicating.

Cricket on 5
Thankyou for your comments. The programme will be available shortly. The reason that there is a delay in uploading is that the digital content has to be converted first, and there is no time to do so before transmission, as is usual with other programmes, due to the day's play finishing so soon before the transmission time. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Channel 5 you are genuinely useless. The whole point of catch up is to allow people like us to watch programmes if we miss them live, does this service do that? No. Mr Desmond sort it out.

This lot are not interested. It seems the advertisers used to read these comments, which would include remarks about how people feel hostile to their products as a result of being associated with such an inexplicably pathetic effort. Shortly after those comments appeared, advertising was removed from the highlights package. So this crappy channel is not only happy to piss off cricket enthusiasts, they have actually cost themselves a packet as a result. If anyone wants to compain, I suggest getting in touch with the ECB since they are the idiots who have granted the rights to these cowboys. (Along with Murdoch, of course.)

This is disgusting. Been revising all day for a test that is coming up at uni wanted to chill and watch the days highlights and there no where to be seen. Need to sort it out. Also its bad how no one from the channel comes on hear and informs everyone when it will be posted after people have been complaining

You're right 'Aggers' but this is the 21st century. Last night the highlights were available when I checked for the umpteenth time at approximately 12.40am. Unless you're gonna get up early the next or a nightowl like me then, it's likely that the next day's play will have started before it's possible to watch the highlights on catch up. The joke of the whole matter is, as some people have pointed out, that Mark Nicholas in Day 1's coverage extolled the virtues of the website and the content available online and yet what is produced is just poor. There was a comment on Day 1s' highlights from someone that they had emailed 5 and was told the reason why it takes a while to be available online is to do with encoding and uploading, well that's just a load of crock as far as I'm concerned. The BEEB's stuff is available almost instantaneously after it's shown live. Channel 5, worst TV channel and worst website. You might think they'd really try and produce a top quality website but no, not a a chance.

After the poor show last year I imagined that it would all be sorted by now. Hopeless. Please 1. tell us at what time the highlights on demand programme will be available and 2. consistantly stick to this time for the whole summer. Opened a nice tempranillo, made my excuses and toddled off to the office to watch the highlights in order to put flesh on TMS's excellent bones only to find that 3 hours after close of play still not available..........

just want to agree with all the other comments that this service is lousy in the extreme. What time do I have to stay up until in order to watch today's highlights before tomorrow?

From experience last year: 1. The highlights don't appear until the early hours of the morning. 2. There is no set time that they appear. 3. No-one from Channel 5 ever responds to any of these comments, nor do they offer a time when the highlights will be available. They appear completely unembarrassable. 4. Mark Nicholas will continue to read his script about how great the highlights, website etc are, despite this woeful effort.

An hour and a half after the highlghts were shown on tv and it's still not available - with no information to say when it will be! What kind of half ar5ed effort is this Channel 5? Just make it clear. Show the time it will be available and please don't have Day 3 highlights to view before Day 2's are even available! Unprofessional - even itv player is better than this!

In total agreement with all the other posters! What is the point of a catch up service where you can't catch up! Ridiculous Channel 5, sort it out!

Once again C5 let us down with the catch up, dont you realise that working people no longer finish at 5pm and a 7pm highlights is too early, so we realy on the catch up on line service and its not here. We had this all last summer from C5 purhaps you should do the decent thing and hand the cricket back to C4 or the BBC
