Ok at first I gave 5 the benefit of the doubt, as I had no problems with the service before this set of ODI's. But I think I am going to have to side with everyone else and make the point that even 2 days after it was posting it is still playing up. I know you're not getting anything from TV licenese, but come on you have to make enough through advertising and other ventures to at least make sure the videos work. It would be better to not upload it than to rush through it so loads of people complain. SORT IT OUT 5!!

Missed the highlights of the last ODI and so thought I'd watch them on the catchup service. Managed to see the first quarter of the programme and then nothing . . . just darkness . . . :-( If you are going to bother to make the games available to the public on demand . . . you could at least make sure they play on your site . . . most disappointing . . . !!!

Well, guess what? Another dire performance from Channel 5 with non-streaming highlights - rubbish service, please improve your technical capability!

Player 1 Is Dead
I am just about to attempt to watch the highlights as they were on much too late for me last night after an exhausting day - let's hope I am not re-posting in 5 mins re my usual abuse at Channel 5 for failing to provide an adequate streaming service... The thing that I enjoy about the cricket comments on here is that generally speaking, most users are very eloquent and good at expressing themselves - have you ever bothered to check out some of the comments for other, shall we say, lesser tv programmes? We're a classy bunch us cricket lovers! Stay classy! Ron - that's great to see an elderly gent enjoying the On Demand service - my dad is clueless and can't even use a computer...

There are many things in my life about which I am unhappy. Then, on reflection, I realise that I'm complaining about myself. For example, I keep missing my bus to work - but that's really because I choose to get up too late. Or I'm always short of money - but I know really that I spend too much on beer. The lateness and technical quality of the cricket highlights is, in some ways, similar. Perhaps if I lowered my expectations and chose to enjoy the good and bad of the free highlights service then I would not need to post "rubbish", "poor show" etc. Maybe I should get a life and not post this. Oops, too late.
