    On everything I try to play it says "Sorry, this episode is no longer available to watch on Demand 5." AND I've got that new BT hub, my connection is great, what's up?

    @Katherine, @Moo on her Mac, and everyone else smugly insisting it is the fault of all these users who (only) experience problems with Channel 5, it may yet happen to you. Others, just as smug, have had to eat their words. Like Nunes, I too work in IT... for a few decades. Channel 5 has a number of unique problems to address with its catch-up service. True, other broadcasters are not perfect (e.g. BBC's new LiveStart uses non-BBC servers that frequently stall, plus most of the day I must use the Low Bandwidth option; ITVplayer and 4oD use a higher bandwidth, but without an option to switch when your ISP slows or Internet traffic is generally at peak usage). However, Demand 5 has a much higher problem frequency than all of them! Some of the faults are likely down to the US-based video server company (e.g. server cannot cope with concurrent demand, videos published late), others are due to the UK-based Web application development, also contracted out (e.g. adverts freezing in zoom mode, browser compatibility issues, 'Report a problem...' Captcha awkwardly overlayed by video still), and other may be due to their chosen ad server company, or a combination of Demand 5's suppliers. Worst, Demand 5's IT & support staff (based on e-mail replies I have received) seem unable to grasp the technical issues, let alone coordinate any solutions. Don't be so smug. Demand 5 still has a LOT of on-going BUGS to FIX!

    guysss....i dont watch it here anzy more cause of the problemss, i go to 'watch series'-i just likes to comment so we can dissscuss ideas and thougts on it. I hope this new CSI stays, she is cooool, i lve the chemistry between her and DB Russell

    It HAS to be all you guy's internet/computers that have a problem. I work from home and ALL day EVERY day from about noon through to 11pm/midnight I'm watching stuff on here. Never had a single one freeze on me, not even for a nano-second. I live in the sticks in Scotland too so if anyone was going to have a problem....

    KATHERINE YOU DONT KNWO WHAT U TAKN ABOUT, DEMAND 5 HAS ISSUES WHICH THEY REFUSE TO FIX, THIS SERVICE DOES NOT WORK, ALL OTHER I PLAYERS WORK JUST FINE, STREAM HD - NO PROBLEM, ITS DEMAND 5 THAT IS PATHETIC SERVICE! YES IT IS FREE BUT WTF IS THEIR PROBLEM? IF ALL OTHER IPLAYERS CAN WORK FINE WHY CANT D5 DO SAME????? THEY ARE IDIOTS!!!

    I am so happy i found out other people are having problems with demand 5 thought it was just me / my mum's internet having moved back for the summer and that's when the problems started

    @Katherine. FWIW, I am an IT expert, my machine is setup just fine. My connection is great, and it romps through playing Full HD stuff on every other service. It's a 5oD bug.

    How ironic that Five always show an advert for Google Chrome - yet Chrome won't show ANYTHING after the adverts with Demand 5 - always a blank screen. Back to Internet Explorer we go :-( Come on 5 - when ARE you going to fix your service?!

    Just taken 20minutes to watch less than 4 minutes of CSI - why does it freeze so often and for so long? The Walking Dead was bad on Tuesday but this is worse - no problems with Channel 4 though, so it's not my laptop - and the adverts all play!

    i have given up trying to watch on demand, it just will not let me. I have this problem all the time with 5 but never with any of the others. I just cannot be bothered anymore

    I seem to have different problems to the rest of your folks. I can usually get good playback from both BBCiplayer and 5od - but I have lousy playback from both ITV player and the player on Channel 4. Anyone else have probelms with those services?

    @Katherine - stop being so patronising. - it does seem to be a 5oD issue, not our computers/broadband. I'm using a new PC with all up to date flash, drivers etc and decent broadband, yet I still get intermittent freezing problems. "Your broadband slows down at peak times" you say? Maybe a little, but if that's the case how am I currently playing the BBC iplayer (in HD, Itv Player and 4oD simultaneously with no slowdown? I've no idea what the issue is or why some get it and not others, or why it worked his morning but not now, but it is NOT at my end.

    People, this is a FREE SERVICE. 5 are not obliged to give you this service. It is paid for by the advertising revenue. I have no problems with Demand 5 at all and AJ74 is right. Sort out your computers and broadband services. Its YOUR problem, not Demand 5s. BBC iplayer, ITV and 4od all have people with a similar complaint. As for "mother", you should know that internet speeds change all the time and at different times of day without warning and it also depends if you are a prefered customer, or not. So, get yourselves sorted out with an IT expert and learn how to use the REPORT FAULT button

    @AJ74 So you say its not 5's fault? How come they are the only tv players who have this problem? And how come I can watch half an episode before I get the blank screen? I wrote to them not so long ago, and they said they were aware of having problems, but also tried to blame my computer - however, as I am using a brand new macbook pro, with everything up to date, I doubt very much its down to my comp....

    @Tony Green and everyone else moaning to 5 - it's not their fault; it's either your 'net connection or you need to update Adobe Flash or your graphics card drivers. I've never had any problems watching a program on Demand 5. Also - there's a "report a problem" button - use that :-)

    Great adverts, I should know I've watched them twice now but the actual episode wont seem to l play, shame I ain't interested in Google Chrome or the Territorial Army and all of this extra advertising is completely wasted on me!
