Episode 14: Seeing Red

Sorry, this episode is no longer available to watch on Demand 5.

Find out why

When the only witness to a shoot-out suffers memory loss, DB calls in his ex-colleague Julie Finlay to deconstruct the blood spatter patterns. so frustrating that i can't watch programmes on here - adverts stream fine for two minutes and then i barely get two seconds worth of the programme - SORT IN OUT CHANNEL FIVE!!!

As for the show between the advertising, great to see Elisabeth Shue join the cast. It's tough to replace lead cast members on a long-running show--Dick Wolf's constant turnstile casting approach to the "Law and Order" franchise being a noted exception-- but with Ted Danson and Ms. Shue, CSI producers (including one William Petersen f.k.a. Gil Grissom) may have pulled it off. ... Still, I would like to see a visit from D.C. FBI in a future episode, just for old time's sake. :-)

Phew! Made it through the advertising marathon, without too much freezing. I try to always watch Saturday or Sunday mornings (or in the wee hours), when the Internet traffic and video server loads will be lightest. Forget trying to watch in the evenings. I tried ITVplayer last night (footie) for the first time in ages. It was a buffering nightmare, eventually losing sound. None of that excuses Channel 5, who have had nearly 2 years to sort this out!!!

Had same frustrations with freezing etc where it used to run fine. Then tried it in Internet Explorer and it ran fine - didn't freeze whole episode. Back to Chrome and had same freezing problem - so try a different browser.

Always getting problems with freezing and stop/starting of programmes. Takes too long to watch an episode of anything. And I only get problems with 5 On Demand and ITV Player. How come Iplayer and 4 On Demand run smoothly?

I too am trying to watch this episode and the screen keeps freezing. I missed it on Tuesday evening so am relying on replay to watch it. Not pleased.

After reading all the comments about it freezing still thought I would give it a go. Not one single problem. Think you need to check your internet coverage guys.

I am sick of this, every night its the same. I work shifts and so watch my favourite programes on the computer. I never have any problems with 4OD, ITV Player or iplayer but Demand 5 is apauling. The only thing that ever plays well is the bloody adverts. OH and its NOT my broadband!!!!!!!!! Get this sorted ASAP

well, that only took four attempts for me to get it to play. Better than it has been. I do hope that it is not luck!

Come on 5, sort it! refreshed the screen 4 times after it freezes just 2 secods in. Sat through 95 seconds of adverts each time (which strangely play perfctly!?) then it stop-starts every 5 seconds. Starting to think about giving up on CSI! not happy :(

why doesn't this ever play, adverts miraculously play perfectly, yet the program CONSTANTLY freezes. Demands answer is that the ISP connection is too slow, that is rubbish, iplayer has no issues, c5 adverts have no issues. very frustrating

Dreadful - I can't get it to respond at all - not even the adverts and when I try to report a problem a small screen pops up obscuring the comment section so you can't even report a fault! No problem with itvplayer or bbc iplayer so it's not a technical fault my end. Come on C5 - either provide a proper service or don't bother.
