CSI crime scene investigation series 12 stopped half way through and the rest was never shown on TV in the UK. So I haven't a clue about what's going on in series 13. To top it all off, I can't watch these episodes on 'demand' 5' a site supposedly for catching up on missed programmes. Just absurd!

whats the point in having demand 5 to catch up on programmes you've missed when all you can watch is one episode from the night before?

Have been trying to watch this programme now for 15 minutes. I have refreshed the page three times yet no improvement. Failed. If only 5OD had a player like BBC iplayer.

5od, get your act together. The freezing is ridiculous and you are losing viewers.

so completely sick of channel 5, so many of my favourite programmes are on here and every single one of them gets freezing issues. i got about 10 minutes into the episode and it froze for the 5th time and wouln't unfreeze, so i reported the problem, went off it and back onto it again and now i cant even get it to start - if only there were other providers to show channel 5 how it can be done.... hmmmmm 4OD or BBC iplayer perhaps - not hard is it channel 5?

Been trying to watch this for 90 mins now. Have reported problem and it worked for 15 secs then went back to freezing. Demand 5 gets worse instead of better

Re: Freezing issue. I have noticed that if I allow the opening ads to play, and then pause the show, letting it buffer for 15-20 minutes, without trying to watch it in short bursts between freeze-ups, it is possible to watch entire programmes without any problems. If you can anticipate when you're likely to want to watch something, and can think of something to get on with in the meantime, switch off any ad-blocking add-ons and this should work fine Great show

Why does this very good programme have to be on 5. this web site is a joke. Dont have issues with iplayer or 4od. dont have time to watch on tv so i try and watch online unfortunately a 45 minutes programme takes a ;long long time to watch. bbc itv channel 4 please buy the rights to this programme as channel 5 sucks.

The streaming of this is horrific. It's taken over 3 hours to watch this 42 minute episode. :( How can the ads run perfectly but the episode freezes every 5 -10 seconds ugh.

I agree with every comment about sucky BB. How dare they REPLACE CSI with BB. Infact it doesn't deserve capital letters. It's bb. :P

aaaaggghhh just to join in everybody's elses rant. Why do they manage to get the 119 seconds of adverts to play perfectly and not the show. Sort it Ch5!

To anyone experiencing technical difficulty, e.g. freezing or ads restarting (or those who smugly think it is their personal configuration that has magically kept them from experiencing problems), the best solution is to click the "Report a problem with this video" on the right hand side. Once the Captcha overlay appears, be warned that the episode image will reappear obscuring it (why Channel 5's IT consultancy team hasn't fixed this long-standing bug is anybody's guess). At that point, scroll down the page to uncover the Captcha. Enter the two words and Submit. That seems to send an alert to the US-based video server company. Problems are often remedied within a couple minutes. You may still have issues with your own ISP speed, but if you are actually running at 1Mbps or higher (suggest using SpeedTest.net to check), then you should be able to support Demand 5 streaming. If your speed is OK, best bet is to notify Demand 5's video providers via the link.

@Goirad: Presumably, they went by a generalised profile. Most serial killers are male. And given that the victims were all female, that is probably best guess. Of course, until the last victim cried out on the phone (or found some of the killer's DNA, which includes markers for gender), they would not have known for sure.

It's so rare that a lead actor can step into a long-established series and actually make it work, but I am really liking Ted Danson's portrayal of Russell. Had me in tears by the end. -- And thanks for sparing us yet another week's delay due to the infernal return of Big Brother (gag TV at its worst!)

You obviously don't want to allow me to watch CSI, it is a shame, I like it. I see that you have decided not to fix it at all, oh no wait, I hear something. Oh dear, froze again. Why am I surprised, have to give up.

I think if you really must have that dreadful trash big brother on our screens in place of the usual programmes that are on you should not stop them but just move them over to one of your other channels, 5USA or 5 star, then we are not left with days of nothing decent to watch.

I did not come home at 9 tonight to watch Channel 5, thinking they stupidly replaced it with Big Brother. So glad CSI is back on for now. Who in Channel 5 dare to replace CSI with Big Brother. Anyone with intelligence will not watch Big Brother. Let alone the regular CSI fans on Tues.

Why do we have to waste time trying to find a programme to watch amongst all the bumf. Why can you not list what is available to watch now. It is supposed to be Demand tv, not look through all the rubbish and if you are lucky you will find your favourite programme.

Ah yes, once again I am snubbed by Channel 5 to watch one of my favourite shows, because some fool decided that prime air time should be given to a bunch of wannabe whinos that no one cares about. Frankly BB wasn't great all those aeons ago, but the programme has not only outrun itself, it's been dead for a number of years. As we all know, bringing someone / something dead back to life is impossible - you have heard about that Channel 5, right?

You're kidding me, right? CSI isn't on until next week because Channel 5 decided to buy the rights to Big Brother? You do realise that is a completely stupid thing to do. My evening will be spent avoiding the television at all costs -_-
