Third Grade Detective Aiden Burn was smart, sexy and streetwise. A chameleon, she had the ability to try on new identities the way other women try on clothes. Born and raised in Red Hook, Brooklyn, she was well versed in the ways of New York City and always stayed ahead of the curve. Artistically gifted and well studied in anthropology, Aiden specialised in skeletal identification and facial reconstruction.

Though Aiden was one of the team's sassiest recruits, her commitment to solving a rape case involving notorious predator D. J. Pratt ultimately became her downfall: after being dismissed from her job on suspicion of tampering with evidence, her determination to bring the prime suspect to justice put him in the mood for cold-blooded revenge.
