J.R. may no longer be around, but Southfork is still a hotbed of rivalry, backstabbing, corruption and betrayal. The third season sees Bobby now the senior member of the Ewing family and John Ross Ewing out to prove that he can be just as powerful an ally or enemy as his infamous father. His mother Sue Ellen is ready to help him in any way she can.
Meanwhile, Bobby's adopted son Christopher is determined to make a name for himself and his family in the world of natural gas. However, he is still hurting from the collapse of his engagement to Elena and his abortive search for his mother which ended in the news that she died in 1989.
