Eddie Stobart is the UK's best-known road haulage company. With its iconic green and red livery, the company's 2,200 trucks can be seen pounding motorways and roads the length and breadth of the UK. The company employs more than 5,000 people over 40 sites across UK, Ireland and Europe and operates over 6 million sq ft of warehousing space.
But the company is also well know for its fleet of immaculate trucks, each emblazoned with a girl's name on the front, and the army of dedicated Stobart Spotters who try to find each one.
The late Edward Stobart started naming trucks after girls back in 1974 and the first one was called Twiggy after the model. Soon after, the Stobart Members Club was formed as the company's popularity increased and it soon became a national pass-time to while away long motorway journeys by spotting Eddie Stobart trucks.
The tradition has continued and now the Members Club has grown to nearly 20,000 members with the company also boasting a dedicated promotions department which retails model trucks and various Stobart branded merchandise.
Membership of the Stobart Club costs just £18 per year and you can join online at www.clubstobart.co.uk.
You can also buy models, clothing and gifts online at the Stobart Shop.
Only members of the official club have the opportunity to name their own Eddie Stobart truck and there's currently a three year waiting list.

i love eddie stobart and have been followin them 8 years and im only 13 so i was 5 plus my passed grandad (rip)suplyed parts for eddie stobart trucks and vans years before i was born plus he new the real eddie not willlian and my dad use to drive fr them whitch is sooooooo cool and hopefully i will folllow in his footsteps one da I LOVE EDDIE STOBART ;-)

patiger love the show. regulary use m5 from junction 11 to end in devon. rarely see trucks and the are usually going the other way so don't get many names. love to attend a truch feast but none down this end of the country. are you going to come down south more?

me and my boyfriend always watch eddie stobart on tv every week. it makes us laugh @ times the drivers have such good rapor between each other its nice to see that. i cant believe that they're the only ppl who take pride in their work. the cab, exterior etc is always spotless well done. whenever we r on the road, we look out for eddie stobart lorries and flash our lights @ them then wave to them as we go past. (we have a mazda tribute btw,) see u guys on the road and dont forget to wave/ hoot etc!!!!! keep up the good work

I love eddie storbart evrey time i see them i think the drivers are so please to be driving them i saw one and it was a biomas which save energy but the driver was going on about what the can carry e.g paper , soil , peat and other things as WELL can some body let me know where to go as i have just started spootting and looking out for them ps love you eddie stobart the drivers are polite to me and let me take photos of there trucks and write down there fleet number and name of the truck

I met Edward way back in 1977 when he was in his shop in Wigton. He said he wanted to follow the trucking side of the business, and so I have looked out for them ever since as they have risen to fame.
