Stobart ventures into delivering timber when their log wagon, named Laura Jane, makes a treacherous journey into the Scottish forests. The driver takes his life in his own hands when he negotiates narrow muddy paths. He then shows off his skills with the truck's onboard crane, loading tonnes of logs at a time onto the trailer.

I've recorded (on tape) the whole of Series 2 & I've already got series one on a set of DVDs Awaiting Series 2 to come out on DVDs: Brilliant!! Are they going to get into real road trains next? (Artic with 3 drawbar trailers on the back, like in Oz):

Excellent show for anyone with an intrest in trucks, really well made, the drivers selected to be filmed were superb, especially mark dixon.William stobart seems to be a driver at heart, note that he said he would love to drive the log wagon in the final show.I bet he could rope and sheet a load quicker and neater than any driver who works him.I hope they make a third series.Im looking forward to your series on H E services next friday night.Hope it will be as good as the series following stobart.

I'm sick of people moaning all the time about doing a show about a small firm not eddie stobart so i'm just going to say this: NOBODY WILL WATCH A SHOW ABOUT A CRAPPY COMPANY NO ONE HAS HEARD OFF and if the programm and stobart are so rubbish DON'T WATCH IT!!!

Thanks Five. Great series, well presented. An honest insight in to todays transport. I was a 'Trunker', not 'Tramper' as the 'up north crowd would have it. No luxury cabs, no heating, no synchromesh, no nothing to help a driver then. Find your own loads, load it yourself and don't get back to the yard without having made a profit. All for around three pounds a week. Nose to tail up the trunk roads at 20mph and the only chance to overtake was if someone up front had broken down. Great days.
