The legendary trucks and truckers are in the thick of it facing one of their busiest times of year as they become Santa’s helpers. Battling through winter conditions ensuring stores up and down the country get their supply of Christmas trees, salt gets delivered to the councils and supermarket shelves stay stocked with festive fare. It’s a tough job: can the men and women behind the wheels of those famous green and red trucks pull it off?
nothing like the real thing and you cant drive from Inverness to crick depot in 9 hours i worked for stobart for 7 years runing out of appleton thorn depot still thay where very good to work for
why do you all slag eddie stobart off its prob one of the best company to work for i worked for wincanton and would love to work for eddie i think you are all just up set that your trucking company has not been on tv and you not got alittle fame
This should be on the Fantasy Channel or Disney time. A real documentary would show a disgruntled workforce facing a draconian management. Justice for all Stobart Drivers who on a daily basis face a culture of management bullying and are brow beaten into submission
What a load of cods wallap i work in the transport trade and we dont use es any more cause they are crap at time keeping and over priced no wounder people are taking work from them to the little local companys
Eddie stobart may take a lot of work on but they dont do all the deliverys, i worked for a small haulage firm and i collected from eddie stobarts depot in crick atleast 3 times a week to do deliverys they couldn't do as they had taken on to much work and us being a small haulage company would be a little cheaper so eddie would get paid loads for the deliver they never even done and we get no thanks from eddie stobart at all, they take all the credit for it, makes you wish the goverment would limit the amount of trucks eddie stobart as on the roads and give the smaller companys time to build up to something bigger and maybe the economy a get a little better!!!!
my husband works bloody hard for es,i dont see him for 3-4 weeks at a time.he aint no lazy sod, takes pride in his work, and when there has been a problem with any thing home related es have been very good in accomadating him. although i have to say it would be a good idea if the planners who plan these drivers where to swap roles because some of the time scales they give to the drivers are impossible to achieve,so in turn they are not able to deliver when they are suppose to.so these guys need to get real.
i all ways try my best to look at the truks and get the name on my journeys and i am trying to go to one of the depots one day and it will be this year and eddie stobart IS better than football have a wonderful new year (with eddie stobart)
So whats the problem? I drive a truck 5/6 days a week. The (problem) jobs they experience are only the norm for the transport industry. wish I had some of their woes, I would be happy. What a set of softies.

This series is a real insight ... When a Soldier is ready to leave the Army without a qualification to his name and no hope of finding a job what should we do? Oh I know, put him through his HGV test & stick him in another green uniform then let him behind the wheel of a truck ON MINIMUM WAGES and call him a Stobart Drver . . . Great, Not!!!!!!
All i can say is shane lynch is not just in boyzone lmao.
He's a top drifter in the british drift championship with his japspeed twin turbo V8 nissan S15 Silvia :)
why are all the comments that show stobarts in the real light removed! what do we have to hide oh I know the truth. Lets face it the brand is bigger then the truth
