Emergency Bikers

Stephen Cooper - Paramedic

Stephen joined the ambulance service in 2005 and is based in Birmingham.

Stephen

Thirty-year-old Stephen was nicknamed 'Harry Potter'  for his resemblance to the young wizard (dark hair and glasses) when  started with the West Midlands Ambulance Service.

His highlight on the job has been a successful resuscitation where the patient made a full recovery and was discharged from hospital. But his most memorable incident was being called to a head on collision between a car and a motorbike. The motorbike was also carrying a pillion. It brought the A38 to a standstill and one patient was airlifted to hospital.

Outside of work he enjoys motorcycling, golf, running and snowboarding.

He currently owns a BMW K1200S.
