Sonya Walger

Sonya Walger leaves indelible impressions with her portrayals of strong, competent women.

On the big screen, Walger will soon be seen alongside John Cusack in Morgan O'Neill's "The Factory." On television she recurs as Penny Widmore on ABC's hit drama "Lost." Most recently she starred as Carolyn in HBO's "Tell Me You Love Me." In Showtime's "Sleeper Cell," she portrayed Special Agent Particia Serxner. Other credits include Mike Binder's "The Mind of the Married Man," "CSI: NY," "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" and a co-starring role with Jeff Daniels and Marlee Matlin in the Hallmark Hall of Fame telefilm, "Sweet Nothing in My Ear."

On stage Walger appeared on Broadway as Caroline Cushing in Peter Morgan's Tony Award-winning "Frost/Nixon," directed by Michael Grandage. Her theatre credits also include "Hay Fever," "Villette" (Crucible Theatre, Sheffield), "Apocalyptica" (Hampstead), "Black Comedy" and "The Real Inspector Hound" (Donmar Warehouse).

Born and raised in Great Britain, Walger attended Oxford University, where she majored in literature. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
