In this episode, Rav slips into his stab vest for his first week back with the Force. He joins the unit as they kit up and hit the streets, policing an English Defence League march in Luton. What was supposed to be a peaceful protest soon turns sour when missiles begin to fly, but the highly trained police unit swings into action to dispatch the rowdy troublemakers.
During a night on patrol in Colchester, the police’s patience is tested by binge drinkers. Paramedics are called in to take an inebriated merrymaker to casualty.
In Harlow, officers race to the scene of an armed siege, where a domestic dispute has spun out of control. In a tense stand-off, officers armed with a battering ram prepare to storm the house whilst a negotiator attempts to find a peaceful resolution to the situation.
The adrenaline is pumping as Rav gears up for his first drugs raid in eight years. Joining the ‘entry crew’ as they prepare for the dangerous operation, Rav is taken on a roller-coaster trip down memory lane as the unit targets three houses simultaneously on the same street.
Rav’s experience as an officer with the Met allows him to embed himself in the heart of this elite policing unit. His first-hand insight, combined with state-of-the-art officer-mounted cameras, brings viewers closer to the action than ever before.

An average policing program but as everybody else says, far too tailored for the people who flick through channels and only catch the last ten minutes of it and therefore need an update on what is to come/happening. As for the adverts you have to all realise that this is how Channel 5 make their money and therefore stay on the air and also on the internet so put up with it like you've had to for so many years already. Would like to see a presenter get more involved than he can within a civi capacity however, bit of a Ross Kemp, all talk and no action

Pity 'Rav' is hosting the show. He goes on like he's narrating to children. I had to turn it off.

Coming up...... Standard cop show for the attention deficient (saying "coming up" every 10 mins) Plus dubbing on the sound of a Mitsi Evo when the car is actually a Focus diesel!

John Wantling has some extreme views! Don't think that the music detracts from this program at all. Atleast you don't have an american commentator whooping up the events. Grow up

I was looking forward to this programme but sadly the music soundtrack has totally ruined it. Why you employ a complete idiot to add sound is a mystery. Do you honestly think that a rock music soundtrack blasting out to an extreme that detracts from the programme is a bright idea. In fact, this programme is about rock music, with footage of the police in the background. That is madness and I will not be watching any more of this junk TV. You lot at Channel 5 need to grow up! I would release the series on dvd with an option to mute the rock music nonsense. Its a joke, surely.
