Wha Gwarn team, How do you apply for the show? I have 3 children and a large garden space, could you give me some tips on how to create a minimalistic garden to spend some time in on a low budget.
Cor blimey I would love to have in our garden...like a million others...people on here giving their hard luck stories wanting a freebie...dont we all...GREAT SHOW XX
Just watched the first program ....what a laugh...unbelievably ghastly beach scenes.. horrific garden
Mr Rosanna Pointon
Hi there im Rosanna from North Wales is it possible you can give me some information on the tree fern it is grown fern once last year but unfortunate this year there is none at all it is never tried out so not sure what to do please help
How do I apply, i would love to help my daughter to transform her small back garden. She is a single mother and just come out of a relation ship from hell. Could you please help.
I have a small garden which is tidy but completely uninspiring. Would love some help to make it more user friendly and inviting to use. Live on my own now my son has fled the nest so need something easy to keep. PLEASE consider me for a project!! Love the program (when not at work and get chance to watch)
Help, Garden ER. Since we brought our property my husband has been made redundant twice during the five years, also having legally resolved a long dispute on our garden boundary with our neigbbour. The cost of legal fees and lack of funds has left us struggling with other bills. All this left our children age 3 and 5 with no garden to play in for five years and for us to relax and entertain friends and family. We desperately need your help.
Susan Hardy - watched the show, love it,We have started to put together a tropical theme to are garden, every one comments on it but we seemed to have lost are way a bit, would love for you to help us if lucky enough to be chosen. Many Thanks.
Just watched the first show. Very good and informative. Just shows what you can do with a small garden. We have just had an extention built and my garden was like a builders yard this time last year but with lots of determination it is almost finished. Just waiting now for the builder to do the patio.

Like many I would seriously like to have my garden seen to - I am a keen gardener, but my house burnt down 3rd May this year, and I will not got access to do any gardening until next year, already it looks a dreadful sight/site. With the house to be rebuilt, it would be nice for the garden to be done also, otherwise it will take me years
thank you for channel 5 for putting on a show about real small gardens others talk about small gardens but do not understand what small is obviously
thank you channel 5 for actually putting on a really good show doing up small gardens I have seen other shows that say it is for small gardens but obviously they have no idea what small means
Really enjoyed the 2nd episode, it was great to see more of Bonnie Davies, she's a real plant expert!

Mrs Kay Sanders
I like so many others would love to have your guys whip my garden into shape. I know I am probably no more deserving than most requests on here but I have lived in London's inner city in a flat with only a few flower troughs, we have now moved to the very far north of Scotland (Thurso)to a house with a great sized garden and NO experience, consequently it's not used my hubby and I have just a few years of work left and I'd love to overhaul our garden........help us, PLEEEEASE. I have never seen a garden program deal with the terrain in the Highlands! Love the very 'no'nonsense' easy going/easily understood approach to your show by the way!!
Just watched your first show very impressive!I originally come from a small island and would love to bring the cool calm relaxing nautical influence I grew up with into my garden! Its large and I have managed to turf it so the foundations is there!Installed a huge conservatory to try and bring the outside in but being a college lecturer my term times are full on by the time my summer holiday arrives its over before it starts! I would love some advice or help! How do apply for your show???
Pam Skinner (mum is Doris Matthews)
My mum is 95 but very independent and still lives on her own (even though she has just recovered from majoer surgery in March 2011). She has a gardener fortnightly, but only to do the essentials like cutting grass and hedges and superficial weeding. She's just got rid of her greenhouse, which has left an ugly corner, and other parts of the garden have been unvisited for some years (with shrubs which need replacing). It is not a large garden, but is definitely too much for her to cope with. HELP required please!!!
Im a single mum with two young boys and a garden from hell, I would love to be on Garden ER would be happy to have anything done to make it managable and child friendly, i loved the first show last night . please let us know how to apply , many thanks
I thought the garden that was done in this first program was not up to a standard I would have thought for £7,500 spent on it, found it most disapointing, where this garden could have been done so much better, the rest of the show was ok.
missed what to put onto t bags to deter cats can you confirm what to use as we have a big problem with cats but dont want to hurt them
TOP TIPS: if you want info about some of the tips in the programme (ie David's tip to deter cats from the garden, click on MAIN page (above Davids pic at the top of this page), then click on the arrows at the side of the picture and you will see 'top tips'
HOW TO APPLY: We have all the gardens we need for this series, but please re-visit the site next week when we hope to have details about how you can apply to be on future series. In the meantime, we hope you will enjoy watching the series when it launches at 7.30pm tonight and hopefully you will be inspired to have a go at your garden. From the Garden ER Production Team
enjoyed the show & wondered how to apply, my front garden has taken me 5 years and I'm really pleased with it but my back garden isn't so much of a garden mainly concrete & a flower bed with trees that I inherited as I'm now disabled & no longer able to dig I would love to know how yo get rid of the trees and make it a flower bed with lovely shrubs and flowers. many thanks for the good show and for making it look easy. Don't suppose you come to Northern Ireland
Hi, I'm matt from episode 1, just like to thank the team for doing a SUPERB job in my garden, it really is out of this world.
Thanks guys, great show!!
pauline ihave a fair size back garden and patio area but no rear access have cleared on various occasions but have now allowed wild plants and trees to patially cover for wild birds to benefit also have have a warehouse building at back of garden would appreciate any help or suggestions thankyou
To Rollo it was deep heat spray. Can't wait to try it.
On tonight's episode there was some advice in relation to deterring cats from using a garden as a toilet. Would you be so kind as to confirm what to spray onto used tea bags - many thanks
Sorry I should have said I have done my garden on a pension (not complaining) and that it has taken me 5 years and it is still not completed but I like programmes like this for more ideas. Sorry for the ramble earlier.
I have a pensioner and have a nice garden already but like to watch the shows for ideas. My garden has taken 5 years to complete and I came across this programme through Garden Express from whom I have some good plants. Please though don't always use the latin names without the common names of plants. Show looks as if it could be good
I would love to find out more on how to apply. My very good neighbour lost her husband last year. One of his wishes was to get their garden made over so that his wife would have a stunning but easy to manage garden. Sadly this did not happen. I would love to surprise her, please let me know if you are able to help with this garden make over. Thank you
great show look forward to rest of them
I've just searched this site to see how to apply to the show. We have a long thin garden like most edwardian terrace houses, I've tried time and time again to give my garden a make over but the children and rabbits keep invading!! Our rabbits have been condemned to a small run as they kept on escaping the garden and now the children are growing we yearn after a pond for frogs. A simple rabbit and frog friendly cottage garden would be just perfect!!
PLEASE let me know how to apply, your gardening programme is so inspiring but alas I don't have the time or the know how to bring out the potential in our needy garden. Many thanks
Danyelle....look at the post 4 hours ago by j dyer it tells u there :)
I too need help with our garden, its too big for me to cope with and needs to be made easier to maintain, i cleared a section at the bottom and found a lovely old waterfall, would love to see it restored. No one seems to be saying how we apply?
make over would be lovely!!!!due to my garden running down hill.I love the garden but dont know where to start, please some one HELP !!!!!!!!
Bonnie you look so fantastic on this programme! Well done to you, really like what you did for the "Garden Express" man, a site I also just love looking at! Keep up the good work, I really enjoyed the advice that you gave me for my garden. Good luck, I will enjoy watching more of you on this show. Chrissie
i will be applying too when its available to do so as my long term partner has MS and i just havent got time to do the garden with looking after him and the 3 boys i just would love someone to make over my garden so we can spend time in there :)
How do i get consider for Garden ER?
I would love my garden to appear. We bought a house last year which we gutted and now looks great. However the garden is a different story we have no idea where to start. There is not even a proper lawn area to relax. Help
My name is Chris Bonnett, and I appear on the show in the first episode. I run a plant nursery, Gardening Express, but have no time to sort out my own garden, so called in some fellow experts in the shape of the Garden ER team. I have written a blog, which will appear on the garden ER website. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
Really looking forward to watching this new series. Fingers cross it will go well!
Hi. I was a single mum of two lively boys aged 8 & 10. Then i meet back up with my first love two yrs ago and we've had a little girl together. My partner has been out of work for nearly 7mths now with no chance of work on the horizon. We would love to make the garden nice so the children could use it. My little girl will be walking soon and really need a garden, also my ten yr old is autistic and adhd and it would be so good for him to have an interesting space to play in. Our money situation is so bad we cant even afford a lawn mower let alone the other machinery to make this over grown mess safe and child friendly. Please could you put my family down for a make over,it would really make a huge difference to all of us. Thankyou for your time.
We have all the gardens we ned for this series, but please re-visit the site next week when we hope to have details about how you can apply to be on future series. In the meantime, we hope you will enjoy watching the series when it launches at 7.30pm tonight and hopefully you will be inspired to have a go at your garden.

It's only a small garden, it wouldn't take long to turn it into something beautiful and useful if you had the knowledge, the energy and the money. But, unfortunately, I have none of those features. My various disabilities get in the way. Help Please!
Help please help! I have inherited a garden that was sectioned off for dogs and concreted over in places. I have a 16 month old child and no time to do the garden. I also have no vision for it and no idea how to even begin if i did have a vision!
I to would like to know how to get help with my garden . it hsas never been up to much but now is totally out of hand. Would love it to be a 'tame, wild garden.

I know there has been a lot of people asking for help with their garden but I would like the team to see my garden, the soil is mostly clay making growing anything virtually impossible for garden novices like me and my husband. It is rock hard all over, the clay soil even caused subsidence to our house and we had to be underpinned. Pls help.
I would love to appear on this show I just bought my first house and had it done but still need to do the garden, love the ideas on the show.

PUB YARD DISASTER - Hi I have recently - well actually a year ago - moved into a pub with my 3 children. We have tried our very best to make our working yard into a child appealing oasis for fun and relaxation. HELP US ? PLEASE....
Please can we have details on how to apply?
I too would like to know how to apply!
Can you help me with my nightmare garden?

Would love to apply for this show! I need a little inspiration from people who know what they are doing! I love gardening & try hard since we moved into our first semi, never had a garden in my life, so desperately need guidance! Help please.
Our garden is an abomination - they'd love to get their hands on it I'm sure lol (as would I if I knew how - we have a baby due in 2 weeks and I'd love a garden that isn't a manky concrete slab for when they're crawling around!) Am looking forward to watching it and would love to know how to apply for the show too..
I too would have loved assistance with my newly extened garden. I approached both BBC and ITV to ask if they were doing any new gardening shows but they responded in the negative. I have a budget so wasn't asking for a totally free service. Must admit I am a bit disappointed neither mentioned Channel 5 doing a gardening programme that could assist me. Scoring both BBC and ITV a zero on customer focus!!
me too please How do I apply Desperate help needed
How do you apply to be on this show? would really like to know, my mum would love for our garden to be all done out!
Ditto, I really need someone to sort my garden out. It's a real challenge with precarious retaining walls and a road I have to be careful not to undermine.
How do i apply for the show please. I have been looking out at a barren waste ground for 6 yrs, would love to be able to sit in my garden or give my grandson a birthday party in it. Please please please can you help.
I would like to know how to apply for this show- please can it be posted on the website?
Brilliant. I would love someone to come and administer much needed `first aid` to our garden, wish I knew how to apply.
Cannot wait to watch Channel 5's first gardening programme. With Bonnie Davies' fresh & natural approach to gardening this should definately be one to watch!
