Would miss rutherford like the stair carpet? It is quite nice and beautifully fitted but a surprising choice considering Sian knows I spent 3 weeks stripping back all the old lead paint and varnish to reveal the beautiful original hardwood stairs(digitally made to look grubby in the shots above) - something I now don't relish having to do again with the new lumpy paint finish!? And Jo, you are welcome to the stair fittings which are to be removed because they do not fit properly and we are reconstructing the beautiful curved original handrail which we managed to recover some of undamaged from the skip. Also seeking a charity for the kitchen which is coming out to insulate the outside wall and not going back because a) it would need to be modified to fit and b) it is badly designed and impractical for my requirements (good quality units though, kindly supplied by Perth kitchen centre and a small gas hob and double oven which are fine if you don't cook much)

please could you tell me the name of the stair carpet used on the programme 10/7/12 the black grey cream stripe. Ilive in tyne & wear the northeast of england and have been searching with no joy for this carpet. Thankyou and a great programme.
