Surreal and violent horror classic, written and directed by Clive Barker. After solving a Chinese puzzle box that acts as a gateway to Hell, a man is imprisoned in a world of exquisite pleasure and pain. To Miles, Clive was born in 1958, his first horror story was 1984, his latest 2011. Not the future, more a ground-breaker. He & King changed horror forever.

See?? This is why its so important to get a house survey done properly. And not one of those useless Home Buyers surveys. Get a proper Builder's survey that looks into the structure of the property! Such a survey carried out by a competent surveyor would surely have revealed there was some creepy murderous spirit or something under the floorboards. Or at least it would likely have pointed out the dangerous nail...

One of my olde best friend's dad was prop-master on this film (along with Nightbreed, Alien3, Full metal jacket... and many more)... Apparently he was taken on set at the tender age of ten to meet the chatterer etc and was, ofc, PETRIFIED! Some great memories and enough fake-blood n props to keep any kid happy!
