Proud of her heritage and devoted to her family, fun-loving mum-of-one Leah is a girl with a big heart and, well, an even bigger mouth - probably to be expected after sharing so many of her working hours alongside gossip queen Colleen. Still, Leah knows when to give her ears a chance and, as an equally good listener, is always there for her friends when times call for a shoulder to cry on.

And boy, has she needed that shoulder herself. Leah and Vinnie's big fat Greek wedding was fast forgotten as their marriage turned from fairytale to farce: her hubby died in jail after being sent down for a crime his father committed, leaving accomplished chef Leah with a lot on her plate.

Neither Leah's on-off relationship with brawn-before-brain man Jesse nor her troubled marriage to late husband Dan lowered her blood pressure, and her fledgling romance with man of the cloth Elijah hit the skids when he went on a charitable mission to Africa only to return with a wife.

Most recently Leah's search for love brought her closer to home: in best mate Miles it seemed she'd finally found what she'd been missing, for a while at least. However, despite promising beginnings, their relationship failed to survive the heartbreak of a miscarriage; realising they wanted different things from the future, the pair went their separate ways.
