Biography

A minor rock star, Liam drew quite the crowd when he first hit Summer Bay in 2009, proving an instant hit with teens Annie, Jai, Geoff, Nicole and eventual squeeze Belle.

No stranger to rehab, Liam's drugs battle cost him his marriage and access to his son Ash; things went from bad to worse when, unable to cope with his later split from Belle, he contemplated suicide.

After an ill-advised fling with Nicole, some time away and another stint in recovery, Liam cleaned up his act and returned to the Bay not only eager to start a new life but also hoping to make amends with the people he'd wronged.

One Martha-shaped mistake later and he appeared to be on the straight and narrow, channelling his musical talents into a teaching job at Summer Bay High and bagging the girl of his dreams in Bianca (even if he did have to steal her away from a prince). After a slip-up at work cost Liam his job, past poisons came back to haunt him – and his new love swiftly showed him the door – but another stint in rehab and the couple weathered the storm, going on to tie the knot in spectacular style.
