Biography

Ladies, beware! A first-class doctor with an impeccable bedside manner, Sid Walker is as smooth as they come: be it with patients or co-workers, he simply can't turn off the charm. But with that comes his biggest flaw: when it comes to relationships, he's easily swayed – and as a result is renowned for his wandering eye.

Before coming to Summer Bay for a fresh start, Sid promised his then wife Jodi that his cheating ways were over, even believing his own hype. Of course, though, promises are easily broken, and after he enjoyed a last hurrah with a younger woman, Jodi packed her bags and left him a single father to teens Dexter and Indigo.

It's been a struggle winning back his kids' trust, and to keep them on the straight and narrow, but now he puts them first and they respect him for it; in fact, they've even warmed to new girlfriend Marilyn Chambers. It's just a pity that, with Roo on the prowl, Sid himself didn't seem quite so convinced he'd found the right woman...
