After a week of silence, Roo softens towards Harvey and admits she could have shown him more understanding when it came to his family situation. With Roo keen to meet Lottie, Harvey gets his daughter to agree to a picnic. Despite a shaky start, it appears to go well and Lottie appears to have resolved to be more mature in her behaviour towards her father. However, when Harvey cuts short their time together to deliver Lottie back to Mel, Roo gets a taste of the ex-wife’s spite.

Meanwhile, lamenting his poor track record with cars, Dex tries running his own ‘bullet chess’ as a way to make some quick cash - unexpectedly serving as an introduction to Lottie, with whom he seems to share plenty in common.

Elsewhere, Heath continues to make a strong and upfront play for Bianca. When Heath makes clear to him his intentions, Liam is rattled enough to both quit his job at Angelo’s and quiz Bianca about her feelings: is she truly committed to leaving her ex in the past?
