It’s Summer Bay’s 150th anniversary celebration, and to mark the milestone faces old and new take to the waves for a cruise on the Mirigini. When Kane emerges as a deckhand, it doesn’t take long for the atmosphere to turn sour and the Sutherlands’ recent traumas to resurface, but as the mood blackens so too do the skies. With the captain struggling at the wheel as the boat gets caught in the eye of a devastating storm, back in the Bay the community stands by helpless after Alf takes a message over the radio: the passengers are being forced to abandon ship. Meanwhile, back on board, Kirsty leaves Seb to find her mum – only for a sudden wave to force them apart, sending the boat plummeting to the depths…

    Don't think any of the characters die one of the crew may. From memory i think Kirsty, Shelley and Kane end up on and island and Kane saves Shelley from a snake.
