Home and Away

Dan Ewing on life as a River Boy

Home and Away hunk Dan Ewing reveals all about life as the irrepressible Heath Braxton, from the appeal of the role to his character's well-hidden soft centre.

Dan Ewing made his Home and Away debut in 2005, when a guest appearance as surf hunk Reuben Humphries gave him a taste of life as a Summer Bay bad boy ahead of a stint honing his craft at acting school NIDA.

Six years, a new haircut and a few tattoos later, Dan is setting pulses racing as Braxton sibling Heath, the hot-headed heartthrob with an eye for the ladies, a mean left hook and hopes of stealing from older bro Brax a top spot as leader of the River Boys.

Here, in the first of our exclusive video clips, Dan reveals all about life as his irrepressible alter ego, from the appeal of the role to Heath's seldom seen soft centre.
