The date also marks the long-awaited comeback of Summer Bay legend Alf Stewart, and to celebrate we're indulging you with a fortnight of soap nostalgia on 5*.
Starting on 22 August, tune in to 5* each weeknight at 6pm for double bills of special themed episodes, split into one-week seasons of first Comebacks and then Alf's Best Bits. Read on for the Comebacks schedule at-a-glance, and then stay tuned to the website for full episodes!

- Mon 22 August (6pm): Episode 3126: Fisher chases his past as he spots Marilyn's face in the crowd at his London book launch.
- Mon 22 August (6.30pm): Episode 3127: After arranging to meet her at St James's Park, Fisher finally reaches an understanding with Marilyn.
Jesse McGregor
- Tue 23 August (6pm): Episode 3342: Visiting Leah and VJ on Vinnie's bidding, Jesse's return sparks mixed reactions among the residents of Summer Bay.
- Tue 23 August (6.30pm): Episode 3343: As old friends prepare to welcome Jesse back into the community, Noah uncovers a different side to him - and doesn't like what he sees.
Duncan Stewart
- Wed 24 August (6pm): Episode 3719: Duncan returns to Summer Bay and immediately causes a stir with dad Alf and Seb.
- Wed 24 August (6.30pm): Episode 3720: Duncan risks chaos at the town's big party by texting invites to everyone in Summer Bay and beyond, while Leah sets off some fireworks of her own by finally admitting the truth to a gob-smacked Flynn.
Josh West
- Thu 25 August (6pm): Episode 4055: Amanda waits anxiously at a secluded rendezvous point to meet her secret liaison - none other than Josh West.
- Thu 25 August (6.30pm): Episode 4056: Josh tightens his grip on Amanda to further his plan.
- Fri 26 August (6pm): Episode 4057: Josh manipulates Amanda into doing his dirty work.
Tom Fletcher
- Fri 26 August (6.30pm): Episode 4576: As a team of surgeons work to save her life, Sally finds herself in the Summer Bay house, reunited with late foster father Tom, who offers her a glimpse into the future.

They don't show it during the summer as Australia have a long christmas break from Home and Away. Otherwise the UK would end up broadcasting before Australia

Yes, H&A lovers, wouldn't it be fantastic to watch it from the beginning again! I missed a fair few years in between, because I was living in Germany at the time, so there will be loads of episodes I haven't watched yet. Make our wish come true, Channel5! :))))))

Yes why do we keep getting breaks as were months behind anyway, would it really make any difference to not have a break in august???!!!!

This sounds great but however australia are showing episodes right from the beginning. So how come you can't show any episodes that were on itv? Will there be any chance of you getting the rights in the future. Thanks.
