Meet Summer Bay High's new school counsellor

With teen drama in abundance at Summer Bay High, it's safe to say that the school's latest recruit - counsellor Natalie Davison - will have her work cut out for her when she hits town in a few weeks' time.
Natalie, who will first be seen on screen on 16 May in Australia and 4 June in the UK, on Channel 5, marks a game-changing move for alter ego Catherine Mack, who appeared ready to settle in LA when she landed the role on Home and Away.
Catherine, who has previously guest-starred in Aussie dramas Blue Heelers and Winners and Losers, last year enjoyed a four-month stint in New York studying the Summer Intensive course at William H. Macy's Atlantic Acting School, receiving a scholarship for the graduate conservatory in Los Angeles. She returned to Australia in last December, moving to Sydney to start her role on Home and Away earlier this year.
Discussing her Summer Bay character, Catherine teases: 'Natalie has a very selfless quality and determination to help others that I really admire. After travelling through some very tough times as a teenager she was forced to grow up very quickly. She is passionate and strong, but not without her deep flaws.'
