Ruby to farewell Summer Bay
As Ruby finds herself caught up in a tussle for Romeo's affections, sources report that star Rebecca Breeds has filmed her final scenes on Home and Away.
She made her Home and Away debut in 2008, and in an action-packed four-year stint on the soap has seen her character battle everything from alcohol addiction to the loss of her mum Charlie: now, as Ruby finds herself caught up in a tussle for the affections of local hunk Romeo, sources have revealed that star Rebecca Breeds has filmed her final scenes on the sun-kissed soap.
While details of Ruby's final scenes are being kept a closely guarded secret, Rebecca teases that the door has been left open for the character. 'Ruby is still very much alive,' she tells TV Week. 'I'm not free of Ruby just yet.'
Last year Rebecca told the magazine how far she'd come since joining the show, saying: 'I've grown up hugely, which is really cool as an actor. I feel like I've gotten so much out of being here.'
In the meantime there's plenty more drama to come in the run up to Ruby's goodbye, with her relationship with Indi's former love Romeo set to take another twist (click here for a spoiler) that promises to turn life on its head for one of Summer Bay's most complicated love triangles.

Tracy I miss Ruby so much coz she was a good act that she can do it to ruin Indi and Romeo life but really very wrong and should not have to ruin their live... I am happy that Indi and Romeo sorted out to got back together... The only way Ruby deserved to leave Summer Bay for a good... But Romeo and Ruby are real life relationship, though and nice couple, aren't they!!!!

I used to really like Ruby as a character, particularly the relationship between her and Charlie, but her desperation of late to have a man has been quite off putting and I hope we see the consequences. Will be sad to see her go and wish Rebecca all the best for the future.

Rebecca is not leaving, the infomration on here, is the same as what is in TV WEEK magazine and Rebcca said the unidentifeid 'source' in tv week was wrong, so don't belive this article.
