Summer Bay newcomer spells trouble for Heath

The Braxtons have come up against their share of thugs in their time, and for Heath it seems those days are far from over.

Future episodes will see him under pressure to work for Summer Bay newcomer Adam, played by Martin Lynes.

'Heath went to jail when he was younger and he blames Adam for that,' Dan Ewing tells TV Week. 'Adam's a bad egg, but he's charming and has lots of money, so he's not the cliched nasty guy.'

Heath's bid to keep his distance is complicated by the fact that Bianca seems to be drawn to the new arrival, turning to him for prescription medication as she battles a personal tragedy - and Adam doesn't take too kindly when the River Boy tries to put a stop to his dealings.

'Adam basically gets to a point where he's sick of Heath having a go at him, and says, "If you come and work for me and do a job, I'll stop hanging out with her,"' Dan explains.

'He's one of the worst guys the Braxtons have encountered, because he's got brains and he doesn't like anyone who stands in his path.'
