Growing up in the shadows of Brax and Heath, life in Summer Bay was never going to be easy for the baby of the Braxton clan, but a year after storming into the Bay with his older brothers, no longer is Casey 'still a kid', insists actor Lincoln Younes.

In the process of figuring out who he's trying to be, we've seen Casey do time in juvenile detention, face a turbulent relationship with Ruby and hold his own against the River Boys - and it's not just the character making changes.

'I started working out with a trainer and part of it was because my posture wasn't good - and also because I wanted to feel better about myself if I was at the beach,' Lincoln admits to Aussie magazine TV Week.

'There is pressure because there are a million people looking at you, and Dan [who plays Heath] and Steve [Brax] are very good-looking guys,' Lincoln explains. 'Everyone goes through insecurities, but I don't regret not being buff when I first started - I think it was good for the character.'

Lincoln's bulkier frame gets an outing on UK screens in three weeks' time, following the arrival of Casey's juvie mate Tyler, who not only makes a move on Ruby but also poses a threat to the secret of what happened on the inside. 'It's something very bad - and disturbing - and he hasn't told a single person,' Lincoln reveals. 'The only person who could expose it is Tyler, because he was the only witness.'

'Tyler was in danger and he was a person that Casey was friends with in juvie and was protective of,' Lincoln adds. 'Then, when Tyler had his life threatened one day, Casey reacted in a way that Brax and Heath have never done.'
