Find out why

Ilsa’s equally well-connected, sophisticated sister in-law, Connie, turns up with tickets for the opera. Following last week’s attempt on her life by the dogged Hector, Ilsa’s security has been of paramount concern and both Guerrero and Chance are worried that Patrick, Connie’s bodyguard, may not be up to the job of looking after both of the girls.

After Patrick informs the team that someone has hacked into the opera house’s computer, they get suited and booted for a performance of ‘La Traviata’ (or ‘Il tortellini’, as Chance calls it). Just as the boys are explaining what they are doing there, a group of opera-masked terrorists burst in and take the whole audience hostage, securing all escape routes with plastic explosives. Connie pushes Patrick to do something, but his efforts are futile.

However, leaving Winston in the van outside to keep an ear on proceedings, Chance overpowered one of the two hoodlums left on guard. Donning his mask, he then goes in search of the other group of captives and the terrorists’ boss, Eli.

Chance and Winston reason that if the gang were just after money they would just have hacked the opera’s computer, so they must be after something or someone in the building or somewhere adjacent. Winston picks up on drilling noises coming from the basement. Chance goes to investigate and comes face to face with the gang. Outnumbered, he ends up in the sewer, under a locked grill with the water level rising.

Picking up on communications from Guerrero’s earpiece, Ilsa slips out to help Chance. Winston then works out that the building next door is a CIA safe house, which might be housing someone close to the terrorists. Can Ilsa spring Chance from his death trap? And who are the terrorists trying to free?
