Psychological thriller about a reclusive, wealthy artist struggling against mental illness. Emma lives with her loving husband in the same house that she grew up in. During a traumatic childhood, she invented an imaginary friend to help her to cope with an abusive father.
When the imaginary friend starts to reappear, Emma fears that she is losing her grip on reality and takes drastic measures to rid herself of her torment and her companion, unaware that not everything is as it seems. Brad may not be such a loving husband after all – and her imaginary friend may hold all the answers.
