Mike Traceur and Sarah Graiman infiltrate the foreign consulate in an attempt to obtain the mysterious and elusive ‘Package’, which is exchanging hands on the premises. But their mission is sabotaged by a second party that has broken into the consulate with the same intention. When Sarah is held captive in the consulate’s vault by the leader of the saboteurs, he lets slip that he knows Mike. Amid a storm of bullets and gunfire, Mike manages to free Sarah from her captors and, with the help of K.I.T.T., the pair return to Knight Industries relatively unscathed.

Later, Sarah confronts Mike about the men from the vault, suspecting that they know him from Iraq. Mike says that there are things he doesn’t remember from his time at war, leading Sarah to wonder if there are things he simply doesn’t want to remember. Tracking the ‘Package’ to Washington, Mike is shocked to discover that it is in fact a man whose DNA has been encoded with valuable information. Not only that, but a woman of whom Mike has no memory is safeguarding the man, and she won’t give him up without a fight.
