Why have the write up about programmes, let us click on programmes only to find out that the episode is no longer available. Law and order SVU is one of my favourite programmes, will have t record it on sky, not a good service (I lived in Corfu and I used to go on a site and was able to watch all the episodes dating back to the beginning without any ads and I also had a terrible internet provider over there so, it is this site, sort it please

This is an absolutely appalling service. Just how often do you think we want to watch adverts and no program? Personally I will never go to Waitrose or KFC as I am so sick of hearing them over and over again instead of SVU. Are your tech staff totally incompetent? This is the only TV Player which only works on the very odd occasion; there is not even a 'good' time or a 'bad' time. Just hopeless. If you want any business at all it is time someone somewhere got their act together.

Kept freezing on high powered laptop last night. Ran through no problem on lesser PC at 3pm this afternoon, but ads took forever - a problem with all catch up sites I use - what is the problem???

The freezing seems to me to be due to two issues: a recent Flash upgrade on Windows 7 64 bit appears to have a bug in a function that is used when playing ads that cause video cards to reset. It runs with more stability under Ubuntu Linux. The other issue appears to be a bandwidth one.See sfsw.net/cms/streaming-tv for more technical thoughts o the issue. C5 should survey and find the combination of OS version and Flash player that triggers the issue.

It has probably taken over twice as long to wach this than it should normally due to your rubbish service. Please Demand 5, surely it is obvious there is a problem at your end as all these people are finding, just fix it!

I have been trying to what the programme over 2 days and i managed to watch the first half fine then on the second atempt to watch it keeps freezing :( please sort the streaming out so i can watch the programmes, not even the adverts will play??

Demand 5, your service is as rubbish as nearly all your commentators say. I've tried to watch in four different browsers--it doesn't work properly in any of them, freezing the whole time. I won't be trying again! Why can't you sort it out? There are many fine programs I'd like to watch. What a pity.

16 mins into the show and it freezes i waited for ten mins for it to restart but it didnt i have now refreshed the page ten times but i get to watch the adverts and that is all thinks wonga is right when they say about "with out the drama" cause cant get any drama from 5od it rarely works! i too can watch all other channels with no problems. sort it out channel 5

I have major problems watching programs in evening. I have 2 different nternet providers, 1 through telephone and also through cable. Both give me problems in the evenings. During the day it plays great, so I'm assuming it cannot handle the demand in the evening. As to this story. Wow. I am impressed. Brilliantly done and totally unexpected outcome. Bittersweet.. Would have made a great movie.

Mine's frozen too with 5 mins to go - have tried twice to re-load and sat through the ads only for it to freeze again. Grrrr.

It has taken me half an hour to watch the last 5 minutes of this episode. Stop, start is all that happens with no logical reason and no regular pattern. It is exhausting and if it were not for the fact that hte programme is good, I wouldn't bother. Thi happens with so many Channel 5 programmes. Just as soon as you get the jist of the story the screen freezes ! What a pain!

You have got to be kidding me! After enduring numerous re-runs of adverts (black screen in zoom mode, but sound continues; Esc key then restarts advert with video), I make it through to 33 minutes, when FREEZE! Nothing moves anymore. And, of course, after clicking the "Report a problem with this video" link, hoping the alert will reach someone who can do something, I will have to restart and suffer through endless repeats of adverts for products and services I now loathe (no fault of the advertisers, just the end result of sponsoring and associating their brand with such a poor service, I guess). My bandwidth is actually full speed and smooth (no jitter, low ping). My computer is fine. Channel 4's 4oD service is working fine. So why the problems with Demand 5 (especially as the same US-based video server company claims to both Channel 4 and Channel 5 as customer references)?! Please get your IT services in order!!!

Froze after 1st advert break for me too so I had to start the programme again. Still glad I can watch programmes I've missed but the BBC i player never causes me any grief.

Can access BBC iplayer, itv player and channel 4 - only catchup that ever gives me problems is channel 5!! so what does this say??? programme freezes after 1st advert can't be all our computers!!!

I cant get past the first advert, just freezes! I did write to c5 some weeks ago about all the problems, and they said they were aware of them, but then also blamed my computer. I have a brand new computer!

what an awful site this is. Does not load properly, willnot play without jerking and stopping and taking more than a couple of attempts to even get the programme to play. You need help with your streaming of programmes, I suggest you check out BBC hey seem to be able to do it without any trouble at all.
