INTRO – TOPIC OF THE DAY – GUILTY PLEASURES

PART 1): CELEB CHAT – ASHLEY WALTERS

At 29 years of age he’s achieved more than most people do in a life-time. Best known as part of the So Solid crew, he carved a name for himself as a bad boy. But after his years spent working on his first love, acting, he’s become a successful actor, with many films and drama’s to his name. And now he’s promoting his new BBC Drama – Inside Men.

PART 2) HUMAN INTEREST – OBESE: ONE YEAR TO SAVE YOUR LIFE

DEAN PEASTON AND BEVERLY PEGG

For many years my next guests have struggled to control their weight, carrying an extra heavy burden on their bodies. But after being put forward by their families for a challenge that could potentially save their lives, things are now looking up. They’ve spent the last year on an emotional roller coaster and they’re here now to share their stories.

PART 3a) VT –DOG AGILITY

We visit Karen and her dog Ruby at a friend’s riding school in Reading to learn about the world of dog agility and training. Karen has had Ruby the Chihuahua Jack Russell cross since Ruby was just seven weeks old; she is now two and a half years old. She was originally going to be a present for Karen’s fifteen year old daughter but Ruby did not bond with anyone apart from Karen.

Karen first realised that Ruby was talented when she entered her in a local May Fair and Ruby was awarded the “Judges Favourite” prize, then went on to win the “Reserve Best in Show”. The judge told Karen that Ruby was amazing and had potential. This was particularly unusual for Ruby’s breed, which people think can be difficult to train, however Karen does say that Chihuahuas actually have large brains and that’s where she thinks Ruby gets her considerable talent from.

PART 3b) CELEB CHAT - DEBROAH FRANCES –WHITE, COMIEDENNE

She grew up as an Ozzie but sounds like a true Brit, with her sarcastic humour, proper English accent and stiff upper lip. But she’s got a different approach when it comes to dating, as she claims with her latest tour that she can get almost anyone to want to sleep with you.
