PART 2b: VT: THEME PARK
We sent best friends Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries (best known as Max and OB from “Hollyoaks”) to sample The Swarm at Thorpe Park - Europe’s tallest winged rollercoaster, and the UK’s first winged rollercoaster. This means the ride has a unique seating arrangement where guests are positioned either side of the track with nothing above or below them, leaving them feeling vulnerable and exposed. It took specialist engineers 48 days to construct the 1000 tonnes of track which the 2 menacing creature-like trains speed around at almost 100km/h.

Her TV career has led her to anchor shows covering momentous events such as the Good Friday Agreement and the Royal Wedding last year. She has interviewed some of the biggest names in entertainment like Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, and Julia Roberts, and all before a lot of us have even had our breakfast! Kate Garraway joins us to talk about the NSPCC campaign she is supporting.
