This week we meet Diana, who has waited a long time to have a prosthetic to cover one side of her face. Will she be able to accept it, having become accustomed to wearing a patch for years?

Holly is a young patient who has grown out of her prosthetic eye and is looking forward to getting a new one.

Following cancer treatment, Andrew's jaw is being rebuilt with bone from his leg, cut to a template made by the prosthetic department.

We also meet Thomas, who lost his ear after being assaulted. The programme follows the process as he is fitted with a prosthetic replacement.

    this is a brilliant programme, but the adverts jump in in the worst places, in the middle of sentences etc. Also the video skips forward at points. Annoying.

    Interesting programme...upsetting but interesting. I'm in a similar position where I will be having my eye removed and a new eye made. My eyelids are very scarred from an accident so watching this gives me hope i will look 'normal' again, although i know I will never look the same its great to see what these great surgeons can do.
