Pawan and son Tan have run The Horseshoe together for four years. It includes a bar, a restaurant and a banqueting suite and has two menus – European and Indian.
Tan originally studied law but, after leaving University, his father set him up in business with a pub. Although she comes from a family of hoteliers and restaurateurs, Pawan is a self-taught cook and she designs the menus. Although at times they clash, there is also a mutual respect between them.
