Peter and Louise run their Cotswold restaurant to an informal and relaxed dining experience, serving classically based food with a modern twist.
Peter and Louise both have backgrounds in hospitality: he started his career washing up and worked his way up the ranks; and, coming from a pub-owning family, she has plenty of waitressing experience. In fact, Peter first met Louise in her parents’ pub, where he lodged.
Seven years ago Peter and Louise opened The Old Butchers, where their hard work has earned them a Michelin Bib Gourmand and the accolade of Cotswold Life Restaurant of the Year in 2009.
